Grassroots Season Preview: Indy Heat 2022 EYBL

With hope and anticipation of the start of the AAU season, we begin our look at some of the top AAU teams in the state. Over the next few weeks, we will spotlight teams and some of the top players to watch. He is a top-level shooter with good touch and a great release on his shot. He has a good pull-up mid-range jumper. He needs to put on a little bit more weight, but you can see the potential in him to develop into one of the best players in the class. He will be a must-watch player for the Indy Heat this summer as he develops into the player he can be. One Player We Need to See More: J.J Louden Jr. J.J. has grown and put on more weight over the last year which has allowed him to improve his skill around the rim in a big way. He is a great defensive player who can lock down almost anyone, but he hasn’t quite shown the skill on the offensive side of the ball. We need to see if he can develop his offensive game, but he has the base to be a sound player on both ends of the floor. One Player That Should Surprise: [player_tooltip player_id="769665" first="Peter" last="Moe"] [player_tooltip player_id="769665" first="Peter" last="Moe"] is a big man with plenty of size who has developed an interior presence. He has put on a lot of strength, and he has improved his play around the rim in a big way. He has plenty of touch and finesse around the rim, and he has improved his post moves quite a bit. He has a nice spin move, can knock down the mid-range pull-up, and finishing in transition. He is going to continue to improve as he grows, and he should continue to surprise everyone over the course of the summer.
