There are some players whose impact goes unnoticed in a live game. Whether surrounded by stars or contributing in ways that don’t show on the stat sheet it’s the reason that talent goes unseen. On a second watch, these three players showed why they’ll bring dividends to a college program.

[player_tooltip player_id="779904" first="Mason" last="Gibson"]
Gibson’s defense deserves a second watch from anyone looking for a defensive minded game manager. His on ball defense is stellar thanks to quick feet and a strong frame. Off the ball, he’s active with speed to help and recover to his man while maintaining good position. He’s a rugged guard that uses his above average athleticism to compete and affect winning basketball.

[player_tooltip player_id="1006659" first="Labroderick" last="Scott"]
Scott’s game was obvious in person, but a film session highlights how he does it. The 6-2 guard is on the bulkier side thanks to a 200 pound frame that allows him to bully his way to the basket. By my count he had four point touches in the first five minutes of the game, two of those touches yielding points from a field goal and free throw line visit. He doesn’t have the quickest first step, but if he’s even with you, his strength wins out. It’s a similar effect when you throw to him in the mid post as Texas Legion does. The result? A physical two points over guards and forwards with Division 1 attention.

[player_tooltip player_id="887085" first="Cooper" last="Sisco"]
Sisco scores without ever needing a play called for him. He’s a big time shooter with a 6-4 frame and dunk on you in transition athleticism. He doesn’t give up on plays something you see in his three offensive rebounds that resulted in him scoring 6 second chance points. His near 40% shooting from three for the weekend is what will catch your eye, but it’s the plays he’ll make in between the three pointers that’ll make you call his name in late game situations.
