As we head into the heart of the summer, I thought it would be fun to look into possible breakout candidates for the hopeful HS season in the fall. Either they will see their stock go up or finally get those much deserved offers for the first time.

I have 21 breakout juniors to comment about. (11 currently ranked and 10 not ranked)

Here are the first seven potential breakout juniors:

No. 11 [player_tooltip player_id="701245" first="Mekhi" last="Mason"] (AZ Compass Prep) (Pictured)

-The long guard keeps growing and improving. His bounce has come around to go along with his already high skill. He received his first offer last week from NC A&T and it won’t be his last.

No. 15 [player_tooltip player_id="827019" first="Ringo" last="Aguek"] (Ironwood)

-A long wing forward is just scratching the surface of how good he can be. He handles it, shoots 3’s and can defend from inside and out. He will be very important to compliment the star seniors of [player_tooltip player_id="703835" first="JJ" last="White"] and [player_tooltip player_id="703810" first="Bailon" last="Black"].

No. 25 [player_tooltip player_id="827001" first="Will" last="Coates"] (Phhoenix Prep)

-The long forward really saw his skill spike up recently and is moving more fluidly than ever before. He can shoot it from the 3pt line with range and block shots making him a versatile player.

No. 31 [player_tooltip player_id="827030" first="Trent" last="Moser"] (Gilbert)

-Another long forward on the list may switch over to hoops, at least we hope, from volleyball permanently. If he does dedicate himself to the game with his size, skill and length, the Tigers may have another stud on their hands that keeps getting better.

No. 43 [player_tooltip player_id="827008" first="Isaac" last="Garcia"] (Cholla)

-The Tucson native is looking more active and skilled then last year. I watched him play on live-stream and he was rebounding in and out of his area and hitting 3's. He should be a monster for Cholla next HS season.

Not ranked [player_tooltip player_id="944971" first="Micah" last="Wilkerson"] (Mountain Ridge)

-Way under the radar is very long and athletic. He is very good getting downhill and he can defend multiple positions. He is a capable perimeter shooter.

Not ranked [player_tooltip player_id="1006996" first="Davis" last="Church"] (Casteel)

-The cerebral PG can pass it and shoot. He has a high feel for the game and it was my first time viewing him and I came away impressed.
