Josh Lear (Sumner) – Committed to Utah Valley University
The hard work and dedication for the Spartan standout has finally paid off as he will be suiting up at the Division 1 level for head coach Mark Madsen. The 6-foot-3 senior can flat out shoot the ball, and when he gets going, it is very difficult to contain him. A blossomed leader whose confidence continues to grow as well, Lear earned First Team All-League Honors, Second Team All-Area, 3x State Player of the Week and is All State Mr. Clutch. A high IQ guard who does a lot of the right things with the ball in his hands. A proven winner!

Danny Rigsby (St. George’s) – Committed to Western Washington University
Rigsby will be competing as a two-sport athlete for the Vikings. Rigsby is also a track and field star who looks to make a name for himself when his time comes. The guard is very crafty with a tight handle, great court vision and who has proven that he is capable of scoring the ball at all three levels very efficiently. When asked about his decision, Rigsby has this to say “it came down to where I saw myself excelling academically and athletically. When I took a visit in the fall of 2019, head coach, Tony Dominguez, was really nice and showed me around the school and facility. We talked about the style of play and how I felt like I could add to their program. They just came off winning the GNAC championship last year and have been very successful. I think mt great passing ability, defense and athleticism can help win games in the future. I am currently recovering from hip surgery and will be redshirting my freshman year to get the most out of my career and stay healthy. I can’t wait to put on a Vikings uniform and show out.”
Rigsby has a very outstanding achievement list, earning First Team All-League this past season, scoring 1,059 total career points and being selected for the Washington State All Star Game after being the all-time leader in school history in steals with 332 and tallied 223 assists in one season, most by any player in St. George’s history.
Daniel Sharpe (Kamiak, Skagit Valley College) – Transferring to Northwest University
The 6-foot-8 big man will be moving on to compete in the very competitive CCC conference for the Eagles. Sharpe is a very skilled big man who is a complete winner and is very coachable. A big man who has great footwork around the basket and a soft touch. Sharpe is an athletic and strong big who can run the floor well and finish through tough contact around the rim. With his ability to score the ball efficiently and rebound, he will be a double-double threat.
Eric Overgaard Jr. (Life Christian, Pacific University) – Transferring to Shoreline College
Overgaard Jr. will be suiting up for the Dolphins and competing in the NWAC. The guard is shifty with the ball and has demonstrated in the past that he can do damage with the ball in his possession. Overgaard Jr. can really shoot the ball, especially from beyond the arc but he is also capable of slashing to the rim and finishing around the basket with his crafty finishes.
Anjaylo Lloyd (Kentwood, Shoreline College) – Transferring to Western Washington University
The 6-foot-2 guard is a scoring machine. A very effective and efficient bucket getter who can score the ball off the dribble or off the catch-and-shoot. Lloyd was an instrumental player for the Dolphins this past year and has grown into a great leader who understands what it takes to win. He looks to take that vital characteristic with him as he suits up for the Vikings. Lloyd scored 26.4 points and grabbing 4.3 rebounds while shooting 46.9 percent from the field.
