Whatever the case may be this crop of prospects always churns out some studs each and every year.
Here is a list of guard prospects who probably deserve more love.

, 6’1 CG, Wicksburg: Love the way this kid has progressed over the last year. He still plays with that “I’m getting to the rim” mentality and more often than not it winds up with 2 points around the basket. Needs to look to shoot the ball off the dribble more, but how can you blame him when he nearly gets to the rim whenever he feels. Look for his college interest to rise over the next few seasons.
Wilder Evers Wilder Evers 6'3" | CG Oak Mountain | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’3 SG, Oak Mountain: This kid has really begun to blossom over the past calendar year. His athleticism has taken flight (pun intended) as he has taken his game above the rim. The added athleticism has allowed him the ability to beat defenders off the dribble and finish through contact around the basket. Look for his recruitment to skyrocket as the AAU season finally gets cracking.

, 6’0 CG, Long: A big-time bucket getter in multiple ways on the basketball court. In the open floor in transition, attacking the basket in the half-court, or off catch and shoot threes this kid can fill it up. He finishes well around the basket with either hand in traffic and is a willing passer when the defense collapses. I look for him to add some key things to his game this unusual off-season like having more consistency shooting the three off the dribble.
Javion Belle-Mccrary Javion Belle-Mccrary 6'3" | CG Pickens County | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’3 SG, Pickens County: Solid! A strong body guard that does a good job of using his quickness and strength to get to his spots on the floor. He shoots it well from the outside and has shown he has that clutch big play ability. A 2-sport star that uses the physicality from the gridiron to succeded on the hardwood.

, 6’0 PG, Auburn: A downhill guard who is super quick and shifty with his handle. He has a quick crossover that freezes most defenders and has several counter moves if they happen to luckily cut him off on the first move. He is a good finisher around the rim and has very good vision and passing ability. A pg that should continue to rise up our rankings board.
