Summer Preview: Wisconsin Blizzard 17U Emery

<p>With the travel season set to resume at the end of the month, Prep Hoops Wisconsin is previewing the top AAU programs in the state. Today, we look at Wisconsin Blizzard's 17U squad…</p> <p><strong>ROSTER</strong></p> <p><strong>G [player_tooltip player_id="865837" first="Chevalier" last="Emery"] - Neenah</strong></p> <p>Quick trigger guard who can light it up from 3-point range. Also a plus-athlete that can play above the rim at 5-foot-11. Two-way player that gets it done defensively and changes games on that end of the floor. Ranked No. 29 in the in the class of 2022. Averaged 6.0 points per game as a sophomore for a loaded Neenah squad.</p> <p><strong>F Garrett Grzesk - Notre Dame</strong></p> <p>Averaged 12.1 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game as a junior. Shot just under 50 percent from the field. Productive big man that can occasionally stretch the floor.</p> <p><strong>G [player_tooltip player_id="994492" first="Sam" last="Haese"] -  Wrightstown</strong></p> <p>Will be included in the next rankings update. Averaged 14.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game as a junior while leading Wrightstown to a 24-1 record. Hit 73 triples and shot above 40 percent from beyond the arc. Has a smooth, effortless shooting release with extended range.</p> <p><strong>G [player_tooltip player_id="938201" first="Parker" last="Lawrence"] - Hortonville</strong></p> <p>One of the bigger breakout prospects in the 2021 class last season. Went from unranked to  No. 63 after averaging 14.7 points and 4.0 assists per game while leading the Polar Bears to a surprising  to a 20-5 record. Strong guard that can score and facilitate. Deadly shooter off the dribble with the ability to heat up quickly.</p> <p><strong>G Jamison Nickolai - Sheboygan Falls</strong></p> <p>Averaged 14.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and  2.2 assists per game as a junior. Shot 49.6 percent from the field and hit 65 3-pointers last season. 6-foot-3 shooting guard with some added length.  Automatic in the catch-and-shoot game or one-dribble pull-ups.</p> <p><strong>F Ethan Noe - Neenah</strong></p> <p> Role player for a very good Rockets squad last season. Appeared in 24 games, averaging 1.6 points per game. Reliable forward that can do the dirty work on the interior.</p> <p><strong>Dawson Nordgaard - West De Pere</strong></p> <p>6-foot-8 forward that put up  11.7 points per game as a junior. Still developing and has a chance to take off later in his career.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="880024" first="Ryan" last="Robillard"] - Luxemburg-Casco</strong></p> <p>Ranked No. 97 in the class of 2021. Averaged 17.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game as a junior. 6-foot-3 scoring guard.
