You are aware that [player_tooltip player_id="567035" first="Will" last="Tschetter"], [player_tooltip player_id="754315" first="Eli" last="King"], and [player_tooltip player_id="957133" first="Sam" last="Privet"] are scholarship basketball players. Non-scholarship schools (plus you NAIA programs) should get to know some of the other Southern Minny Stars!

[player_tooltip player_id="774814" first="Blake" last="Herber"] of PEM. Herber has to be one of the most frustrating players to try and guard each night. At about six feet tall Blake is as quick as they come with the ball turning defenders around nightly. Great vision that allows him to average 6-7 assists a game but also a 21 point per game scorer. Blake is an aggressive competitor that will battle you defensively, and his intelligence on the court is top notch. Envisions a cut and how to get the ball in that player’s hands before that teammate even thinks about getting up the shot.

[player_tooltip player_id="567090" first="Reid" last="Johnson"] of Chatfield. At 6-foot-3 Reid is a confident competitor who wants the ball in all situations. He can be the big guard creating for others or the aggressive attacker scoring 20 points a contest. Stick him on the wing, give him the ball at lead guard here and there, Reid will confidently handle things.

[player_tooltip player_id="957156" first="Austin" last="Klug"] of Caledonia. Austin has grown to 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds meaning he is a wing. Austin is an all around athlete - excellent baseball prospect too - that can defend but what sets Austin apart is his ability to knock down shots from the arc. High percentage finisher too because nothing is forced.

[player_tooltip player_id="956149" first="Nolan" last="Stier"] of Stewartville. A 40 percent three point shooter who is also one of the most dangerous transition players in his class. Trail threes? Nolan is as dangerous as they come. Finishing on the move? No problem, this is also an excellent wide receiver so you know he can finish on the move. Then you have his passing ability in transition. That passing ability is why Nolan can also play both guard spots.

[player_tooltip player_id="567103" first="Kooper" last="Vaughn"] of St. Charles. Did you know that Kooper is one of the top returning scorers in all of Minnesota? He averaged nearly 29 points a game for a 20-plus win squad. Kooper has progressed as an all around scorer but what sets him a part is his parking lot, concession stand range combined with the high percentage of making those long range attempts. One of the best shooters in the state.
