What prospects in the class of 2021 have made the biggest leaps in our most recent update? Here are a few of the 2021 Stock Risers Part 1!

[player_tooltip player_id="814694" first="Ty" last="Johnson"] (DePaul Prep)

Previous Ranking: #23
Current Ranking: #12

This combo guard showed more improved passing than what we had seen in the past during his junior year. Was effective dumping off passes to his big men when he drove and also found some shooters. His biggest strength is probably his lethal spin move where he tornados through the lane finishing with scoop shots, acrobatic layups, or short runners. At or below the rim finisher in this tape. Plays with good pace and has the ability to make plays exploding off ball screens. Mid-range pull up was effective with elevation. He also showed he could knock down threes.

[player_tooltip player_id="920965" first="Jaylen" last="Bryson"] (Champaign Centennial)

Previous Ranking: #60
Current Ranking: #38

Bryson is an upside 6’8” thin and wiry post. Great length. Combines the inside and outside game along with bringing it on the defensive end. Quick right handed hook shot and is explosive as a dunker around the hoop. Will need to add strength for the next level. Stretches the floor with a clean looking jump shot. Effective shot blocker with good timing.

[player_tooltip player_id="821774" first="Noah" last="Franklin"] (Cobdeb)

Previous Ranking: #74
Current Ranking: #41

At 6’6” 205 pounds he is a point-forward that has an elite passing feel. He makes the simple pass along with spectacular ones. Hits guys on the move and with the right amount of speed on passes. Plus three point shooter with a free and easy release. Can also connect from mid-range. Showed much more explosiveness than we had seen in the past.

[player_tooltip player_id="921009" first="Devon" last="Ellis"] (Conant)

Previous Ranking: #126
Current Ranking: #42

Ellis a big small forward that has a very strong frame, athleticism, and broad shoulders. Plays above the rim in transition. Very powerful slasher getting to the rim in the open floor and bursting through the D in the half court. Also likes finishing in the lane with runners. Shows flashes as shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id="647237" first="Connor" last="Davis"] (Neuqua Valley)

Previous Ranking: #64
Current Ranking: #48

Davis is a strong wing with decent size. He is most known for his shooting. He is a plus threat off the catch that can hit a one dribble pull up as well. Improved as a driver during his junior year. He does a nice job of using spins in the lane along with nifty finishes to convert at the rim. Solid wing rebounder and competes defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id="920979" first="Shane" last="Miller"] (Springfield)

Previous Ranking: #88
Current Ranking: #68

Miller is a 6’1” point guard that is smooth and confident with the ball in his hands. Very clean looking jump shot with quiet mechanics. Can hit from three, but his pull up game is his biggest strength where he is money coming off the screen. As a slasher he has easy acceleration and the body to take a bump at the rim for a score. Feel finding his teammates in the half court on the move as a distributor. Aggressive cutting passing lanes defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id="920998" first="Demarco" last="Clayton"] (Bloomington)

Previous Ranking: #114
Current Ranking: #69

Clayton is an athletic shooting guard that has smooth acceleration with the ball in his hands. Finishes with euro steps in the paint and tends to take quality angles when attacking off the bounce. Solid spot up three point shooter that is better in the catch and shoot than creating his own jumper from deep.
