#1 Xavier DeBerry Xavier DeBerry 6'0" | CG Cardinal Gibbons | 2023 State NC | 6’0 F | Cardinal Gibbons
DeBerry played as a reserve in the Cardinal Gibbons rotation as a freshman in 2019-20, but with some key senior departures, he’s due for a huge boost in his role entering his sophomore season. He’s got nice talent for his size already at 6-foot that he uses to get to the rim and make plays.
#2 Nicolas Davis Nicolas Davis 6'6" | SF Elevation Prep Academy | 2023 State NC | 6’3 F | Holly Springs
Streeter spent time on the JV scene for Holly Springs in 2019-20 which should be good for his long-term development. He’s a forward that can guard multiple positions on the floor using his athleticism and length. Look for his name to grow in the Raleigh-Durham area.
#3 Luke Brown Luke Brown 6'5" | PF Middle Creek | 2023 State NC | 6’5 F | Middle Creek
Brown was a force on the interior for Middle Creek’s JV squad in 2019-20. He posted 6.1 ppg, 6.8 rpg and 2.4 bpg at the JV level this past season and should be considered a name to see on the varsity squad in 2020-21. He’s an active force in the paint on both ends that’s learning to make an impact when he’s on the floor.
#4 Nakhi Benjamin Nakhi Benjamin 6'2" | CG Wakefield | 2023 State NC | 6’1 F | Wakefield
Benjamin did well on the JV squad as a paint presence, putting up 9.8 ppg, 4.0 rpg and 1.9 spg. He had a few streaks of double-figure scoring efforts, showing his growing consistency in the frontcourt for Wakefield. He’ll be an early name to watch on varsity going forward.
#5 Samuel Martin Samuel Martin 6'9" | C Apex | 2023 State NC | 6’6 F | Apex
Martin got some experience in the frontcourt in 2019-20 and showed he belonged, putting up 4.2 ppg, 3.9 rpg and 1.0 bpg. As he learns to keep up with the pace of the game, he’s a forward prospect to watch at Apex.
