Best duos in the class of 2021

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Here are three of the top senior pairings in the state. </span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><b>St. Mary’s Prep tandem:</b></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> [player_tooltip player_id="811092" first="Julian" last="Roper"] and [player_tooltip player_id="611405" first="Peter" last="Nwoke"] combine to create one of the three most competitive duos in Michigan’s class of 2021. Roper, who committed to Northwestern, is the 4th ranked player and is one of the strongest guards in the state. Nwoke, who is 6’8, is the 8th ranked player in the state and has improved a lot recently. The point guard-power forward combo will look to compete at the highest level in Michigan next season.  </span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><b>Huron High School backcourt:</b></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> [player_tooltip player_id="611420" first="Julian" last="Lewis"] and [player_tooltip player_id="811099" first="Devin" last="Womack"] also have to be on this list. They are both great at attacking the rim and finishing around or through defenders. Lewis and Womack are the 7th and 15th ranked players in the state, respectively, and they’re certainly the most intriguing backcourt in Michigan in my opinion. The two guards will have to take on even more of the scoring load next year but it seems like they’re ready to do so. </span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><b>Detroit Douglass combo:</b></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> [player_tooltip player_id="811091" first="Pierre" last="Brooks"] and [player_tooltip player_id="811104" first="Javantae" last="Randle"] are the final pairing but they might have the most potential of the bunch. Brooks, the #2 player in the class of 2021, can score from almost anywhere on the court and has a great running mate in Randle. Randle, who’s a little underrated at #24, is a 6’9 power forward with offers from Detroit Mercy and Norfolk State. These two are the most physically dominant of the three. </span></p>
