After analyzing film from last season available on local media sites we break it down on a handful of players across the state.
As we look at their projected level we are not putting a ceiling on anyone we are aware that players can play themselves up as well as down.
In this series, we will be taking a look at some of the strengths and areas that need improvements in prospects from the state of Utah.
Up first are the guys who run the show for their respective teams. The Point guards!
6’2 Noa Gonsalves Noa Gonsalves 6'2" | PG Lehi | 2021 State UT of Lehi High School has proved last season that he is a must watch. Noa was a prospect who turned heads this past season because of his explosive athletic ability. He also has that special factor in his game because he can create his own shot and create for others at a high level. Take over ability on the offensive end.

6’1 Jordan Toscano Jordan Toscano 6'1" | PG Bingham | 2021 State UT of Bingham High School. Jordan is a player that can defend the full length of the court. He has great stamina. He can be patient and control tempo but also know when to push the basketball. He shoots the ball well but seeks the best shot. Great passing ability as he helps make other better around him. Willing to sacrifice scoring for the better of the team.

5’10 Coleman Ford Coleman Ford 5'10" | PG Timpview | 2021 State UT of Timpview High School is one of the toughest guards in the state. He not only plays to win every game he plays to win every possession. He is a pesky defender that can rattle an opposing point guard. He makes those right decisions in the half-court as well as in half-court play. Unlimited energy and drive. Can make a big play at any given moment at either end of the floor.

6’0 Talon Valdes Talon Valdes 6'0" | PG Juan Diego | 2021 State UT of Juan Diego High School has continued to improve his play throughout. One of the fastest players in the state. That saying a lot because there are some fast ones. With an improved outside game he has added another dimension to his game. Plays in a very structured system. Talon has an elite mid-range game. If you are looking for a scoring point guard that gets up and down the floor Talon is a must watch.
