While we have been able to see each one of these payers play we know that there are a lot of players that we haven’t seen that will burst onto the scene soon or in time. We look forward to seeing growth and progression. These rankings that come out will be modified as we see more of these players.
The Class of 2023 could be a great class for Utah as there are a lot of skilled players across the state that can really play.
6’3 Trey Evans Trey Evans 6'5" | PG RSL Academy | 2023 State UT (Wasatch Academy)
Trey is skilled in many aspects of the game. At 6’3 he can play point guard, shooting guard and combo guard. He is a competitor and doesn’t back down from high level competition and physicality. Trey rebounds well from the guard position which enables him to push the ball after a board. He is able to play at a high level at both ends of the floor.
6’4 Chudi Anosike Chudi Anosike 6'5" | CG Murray | 2023 State UT (Murray)
Chudi has a bright future as his versatility can really make him a useful athlete on the court with open sets. He has a good outside shot that will only get better. As his motor increases his game will follow as well.
6’7 Lyman Simmons Lyman Simmons 6'10" | PF RSL Academy | 2023 State UT (Snow Canyon)
Lyman can really play down low and on both blocks. He has soft hands and a nice touch around the rim. As his game continues to expand from inside out he will be an elite prospect.
6’0 Jordan Ross Jordan Ross 6'3" | PG Link Academy | 2023 #132 Nation MO (Pleasant Grove)
Jordan is a skilled point guard that can get others involved and score himself. He is a multifaceted threat and can hold his own defensively. Jordan is a player that will rack up the D1 offers.
6’1 Max Toombs Max Toombs 6'3" | CG Corner Canyon | 2023 State UT (Corner Canyon)
Max has a strong old school game. He will be on the court a lot next season and look for him to be productive. He is that player that will give you a little bit of everything on both ends of the court.
