Jonathan Kuminga Jonathan Kuminga 6'8" | SF Patrick School | 2020 #1 Nation NJ (2021) | The Patrick School
Kuminga will be the No. 1 prospect in New Jersey next season and is currently the top ranked player in the class in the country. At 6’8, Kuminga can do it all on the floor. He is lethal with the ball in his hands. He is a wing player that can dominate in so many ways. His athleticism is other worldly. Kuminga’s college announcement will be national news and he has the chance to be a future lottery pick.
Jayden Pierre Jayden Pierre 6'2" | PG Long Island Lutheran | 2022 State #109 Nation NY (2022) | Elizabeth
Pierre has been a huge part of the turnaround for Elizabeth. They have turned into a powerhouse and have one of their stars back for two more years. Pierre scored 428 points this season and was a factor in many ways. He thrived at getting in the lane and to the free throw line. His jump shot was present but has some work to do. Once that is entered, he will take on a new dominance.
Corey Floyd Jr Corey Floyd Jr 6'4" | SG Roselle Catholic | 2022 NJ . (2022) | Roselle Catholic
The Class of 2022 is stacked with guard play. Pierre was already listed and Floyd is next. The wing has a smooth jump shot that he can get off from anywhere. He has an elite shot off the dribble and can pull up from midrange. He is a true two-way player with skills on both ends. Floyd gets to the basket effortlessly and has shown that he will be a great player at the next level. He already has a bunch of offers and they will continue to pour in.
Jamarques Lawrence (2022) | Plainfield
Lawrence emerged as a star for Plainfield in his second season. He led his team in scoring with 20 points per game and did it at all three levels. Lawrence knocked down 81 three’s and got to the free throw line with great regularity. It seemed as though he put on a show every time out.
Simeon Wilcher Simeon Wilcher 6'4" | PG Roselle Catholic | 2023 State #17 Nation NJ (2023) | Roselle Catholic
Wilcher ran the point for one of the top teams in the state this season. And he did it as a freshman. Wilcher did not have to take on much of a scoring role with his brother CJ, and Cliff Omoruyi Cliff Omoruyi 6'11" | C Roselle Catholic | 2020 #56 Nation NJ on the floor. That will change moving forward. Wilcher is a tremendous guard with great quickness and length. He is extremely athletic which he showed many times with thunderous dunks. Wilcher has the ability to be one of the best players in the state and that can happen quickly.
Aiden Gorombey-Kelly (2022) | Roselle Park
Another member of the Class of 2022. Kelly led Roselle Park in scoring. He has a high-level jump shot with in the gym range. Kelly led the team in three-point shooting and free throws made. He is one of three top scorers returning to the team next season. Kelly will have the ball in his hands a lot next season and that is when he is at his best, whether it is on the break or in the half court.
Elijah Barlow Elijah Barlow 6'1" | CG St. Joe's Metuchen | 2021 State NJ (2021) | Union Catholic
Union Catholic has stepped up in competition every season. This will continue during Barlow’s senior year. He is a slim guard with great length that can dominate in many ways. Barlow has a smooth jump shot and is quick getting to the basket. Union Catholic has a nice balance on offense and it begins with Barlow. He can score with or without the ball because he moves so well in the half court.
