<p>Jersey City is one of the largest cities in New Jersey. There are many high schools with top of the line scorers. We will be breaking down the rankings in some cities in New Jersey. We begin with looking at the top scorers in Jersey City.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850664" first="Mark" last="Armstrong"] (2022) | St. Peter’s Prep</strong></p>
<p>St. Peter’s Prep is one of the top programs in Jersey City and they have the best player in Armstrong. The sophomore emerged as a legit Division I prospect this season. He is a scorer at all three levels. Armstrong averaged 19.9 points per game and knocked down 60 three’s. He was able to use his speed to get into the lane at will and pick up some easy points at the free throw line.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900337" first="Toriano" last="Munford"] (2021) | Lincoln</strong></p>
<p>Munford is one of the top big men in Jersey City. He has a smooth stroke from outside but does most of his work in the post. He scored 15.3 points per game and made 83 free throws. The 6’7 forward has a soft touch around the rim and can finish with contact. He has the strength to not have his shot altered when hit. Munford will be a much watch prospect as a senior.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="896649" first="Phil" last="Brown"] (2021) | Hudson Catholic</strong></p>
<p>Hudson Catholic is the other big name school at the top of the city with St. Peter’s Prep. They are a guard heavy team and it begins with Brown. The junior showed his versatility on the floor this season. Hudson Catholic was extremely balanced on offense. Brown was one of the leading scorers with 11.5 points per contest. He was known as a slashing guard that could finish at the rim.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900328" first="Rayshawn" last="Ford"] (2021) | St. Peter’s Prep</strong></p>
<p>Ford was one of the most improved players in the state. He seemed to get better as the season went on. Ford scored 14.3 points per contest and knocked down 39 three’s. Ford and Armstrong made up one of the top backcourts in the state. Ford was seen as a finisher because he was an elite free throw shooter as well. The guard was trusted to make a big play or get a bucket whenever his team needed it.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850675" first="Isaiah" last="Griffin"] (2022) | Hudson Catholic</strong></p>
<p>Griffin is another guard from Hudson Catholic that is an impact player. He was a double-digit scorer as a sophomore and that number will skyrocket next season. Griffin is one of the top options on Hudson Catholic and can get hot from deep or put the ball on the floor. Griffin is quick in the open floor and agile enough to be a threat on both ends.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900311" first="Bakir" last="Cleveland"] (2021) | University</strong></p>
<p>University will have one of their main options back for another season. Cleveland was a threat as soon as he got off the bus. He scored 11.7 points per game and had the ability to take over a game from the beginning. Cleveland is a solid midrange shooter who can pull up and shoot off the dribble.</p>
