Baton Rouge’s Finest: Class Of ’21 And ’22 Players To Watch Part 1

<p>The City of Baton Rouge and surrounding areas has always produced elite basketball players over the years from Lester Earl (Glen Oaks High School), Glenn "Big Baby" Davis (University Lab), Bob Pettit (Baton Rouge High School), Bobby Phills (Southern Lab), Tyrus Thomas (McKinley High School), and Brandon Bass (Capitol High School) from the old school and here recently, Javonte Smart (Scotlandville),  [player_tooltip player_id="848192" first="Reece" last="Beekman"] (Scotlandville),  Skylar Mays (University Lab),  Langston Galloway (Christian Life Academy), Jarell Martin (Madison Prep) and the late, great Wade Sims (University Lab).
