With the possibility of losing the entire AAU season this year, I mentioned all 104 sophs ranked with my top-5’s series, but here are 24 sophomores that just missed of being ranked and will most likely the next go around!

Here are the last 8:

1. [player_tooltip player_id="973910" first="Luke" last="Kearney"] (Sandra Day O’Connor)

-A face-up 4 type has a chance to be their best player next season with his skill from mid to the 3.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="973815" first="Kyle" last="Waters"] (Red Mountain)

-Another player who will most likely be their best player. He does many things well from scoring to playing defense and making plays for others.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="973911" first="Carson" last="Carpenter"] (Heritage Maricopa)

-A highly skilled guard has a nice shot from mid-range and plays with no fear on the court.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="973912" first="Tanti" last="Felli"] (Phoenix Country Day)

-A longer forward who is good around the cup. Fairly unknown but shined in off season showcases.

5. [player_tooltip player_id="973913" first="Liam" last="Burt"] (Casteel)

-A shifty scoring guard can shoot it from mid to the 3pt line. Should get some PT on varsity next year.

6. [player_tooltip player_id="973917" first="Stanley" last="Mason"] (St. Mary’s)

-A natural scorer from mid to the 3pt line has good length and may find some varsity minutes to stretch the floor.

7. [player_tooltip player_id="976833" first="Kemp" last="Van Es"] (Phhoenix Prep)

-A standstill gunner can shoot it with consistency. He has stronger frame and will head over to the local prep team and fire away from deep.

8. [player_tooltip player_id="975406" first="Jacob" last="Harding"] (Estrella Foothills)

-A sturdy post is a very rugged player on the glass and grabs rebounds by the bunches.

Here are 7 others I need to further evaluate:

1. [player_tooltip player_id="748758" first="Ramel" last="Lloyd, Jr."] (Dream City Christian)-A possible top-5 soph in the state just moved in from Cali and is already nationally ranked.

2. Cash Scott SG 6’0 (Shadow Mountain)-An athletic guard should make a leap for the Matadors.

3. Jaden Hager PG 5’8 (Casteel)-An undersized scorer with a nice game.

4. Josh Rodgers PG 5’11 (Horizon)-A slashing guard will help the Huskies next season.

5. Collin Hasenstab SG 6’0 (Sunnyslope)-An athletic guard who can score and defend.

6. Julian Riesgo PG 5’8 (Salpointe Catholic)-A quicker guard will fill the void of the graduating guards they are losing.

7. Peyton Smith SF 6'1 (Gila Ridge)-A wing who was their star 6th man. He can score and facilitate.
