While all of these players have at least one offer, it is not too late to throw your hat in the ring to land one of these prized recruits. Take a look at Cincinnati’s best available seniors below.
Curtis Harrison Curtis Harrison 6'7" | PF Seven Hills | 2020 State OH (Seven Hills)- Harrison brings a ton of length to the table and is a target for D1s currently. The 6’7 power forward has shown confidence playing on the perimeter, slashing to the rim and finding ways to score in traffic. Rebounds the ball aggressively and confidently. Currently holds offers from Buffalo and St. Francis (PA) at the low major level. We fully expect him to sign at that level
Nekhi Smith Nekhi Smith 6'6" | PF Taft | 2020 State OH (Taft)- The 6’6′ power forward plays most comfortably on the wing, combining a decent jump shot with his pure strength. The lefty has the green light to shoot the ball from basically anywhere but has shown an ability to play with his back to the basket as well. As of now, he holds an offer at the D1 level from Detroit Mercy, but has seen no new offers recently. His size and skill would allow Smith to contribute at a D1 school, but his best chance to succeed will likely be at a Horizon League/MAC school.
Mark Wise Mark Wise 6'4" | SG Deer Park | 2020 State OH (Deer Park)- Wise brings strength and pace to the table, while combining his 6’4 frame as well. He has shown he can score the basketball extremely well and distribute the basketball as well. Wise was looking great the first half of the season but had to sit the second half due to OHSAA transfer rules. Right now he has offers from Detroit Mercy and Florida Atlantic and should be making a decision soon.
DeAirius Barker (Princeton)- One of the better two-way players left on the board, Barker combines phenomenal athleticism on the offensive end with long arms and disruptive mindset defensively to be one of the best guards in Cincinnati. He currently owns offers from Malone, Thomas More, Cumberlands, and Pikeville.
Julian Mackey Julian Mackey 6'3" | PG Lakota West | 2020 State OH (Lakota West)- Mackey has some size at 6’3, and definitely brings high scoring potential as he can go off for 15+ points on any given night. While he currently has an offer from Thomas More, he has received interest from several other NAIA schools as he will likely end up signing at that level. High IQ guard with smart decision making on the offensive end.
