Here is a list of players who should see a significant boost in the ranking.
Knute Wood Knute Wood 6'4" | SG Brooks | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’4 SG, Brooks: This prospect has High to Mid Major written all over him. He has good size for his position and skillset. He has an effortless shot off the bounce from the mid-range to far out beyond the high school 3-point line. His constant progression has opened the eyes of college coaches and should have him hovering around that top five in the next rankings update. Previous rank 8.
Massiah Morris Massiah Morris 5'10" | CG Huntsville | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 5’10 PG, Huntsville: With a breakout sophomore season this crafty pg has put the state on notice. His ability to breakdown defenders off the dribble and finish at the rim over bigger defenders is a skill that cant be taught. He is a blur in the open court and makes the right decisions more often than not. This will be his debut in the PrepHoops.com rankings but his spot is well deserved. Previous Rank unranked.
Wilder Evers Wilder Evers 6'3" | CG Oak Mountain | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’3 CG, Oak Mountain: Probably the most improved prospect in this class he has really turned a corner over the last several months. Growing 3 inches over the last year of course helps but as his body continues to fill out so has his game. The added size and above the rim playing style has made him a prospect to circle on college big boards. Previous Rank 35.
Caleb Paige Caleb Paige 6'5" | CG Eufala | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’2 CG, Eufaula: After a very impressive sophomore campaign which had him help lead his Tigers team to the 6A Final Four no wonder why he makes this list. he showed over the past season that he has the size and shooting ability to be a valuable player. His ability to shoot the ball from the outside is very impressive and should only improve over the summer. Look for him to make an even bigger jump in production in his junior season. Previous Rank 43.

, 6’2 SG, Eufaula: Like his twin brother he had a very impressive sophomore season. He also shoots the ball extremely well, but really showed that he was able to help with ball-handling duties when needed. He is also a good rebounder for his position and has shown the willingness to compete. Look for Eufaula to be back in the middle of the Championship hunt due to him and his brother’s return. Previous Rank 46.
Tucker Gambrill Tucker Gambrill 5'11" | PG Cullman | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 5’11 PG, Cullman: He may look unassuming on the court but don’t let that fool you this kid has that it factor. He has deep range, a quick first step, and the ability to finish at the basket with a layup package to marvel at. Don’t be shocked if you see him launch a 23 footer and be on his way back on defense before the ball touches the bottom of the net Curry style. His toughness and moxy along with that dead-eye shooting ability have him making a substantial jump in the rankings. Previous Rank unranked.
Javion Belle-Mccrary Javion Belle-Mccrary 6'3" | CG Pickens County | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’3 CG, Pickens County: This prospect burst onto the scene this season and with his play it was long overdue. A relentless slashing guard who plays above the rim and is a nightmare when attacking the glass. He is a high energy guy which makes gives him the ability to compete on the defensive end. Expect for his stock to continue to rise as more people get wind of him. He uses both hands around the rim very well and is an improving shooter from the outside. His jump in the rankings should be a significant one as well. Previous Rank unranked.

, 6’8 PF, Spain Park: The big man made huge strides this year in helping Spain Park reach the Regional Finals this season. His ability to eat up rebounds on both ends of the floor is a highly valuable skill. He has the size and build to be a very effective post defender and is slight a foot enough to step out and guard smaller post players who like to hang on the perimeter. We expect to see major improvements over the next year especially on the offensive end of the floor that would make him an even more valuable prospect. Previously Rank unranked.
