1) RAYMOND WATTS | BISHOP MCNAMARA | OVERALL RANK: #10
Watts worked his way into the rotation and even started some games for a sneaky-good McNamara team this past season. He’s a lanky wing who has a nice in-between game. Watts has improved quite a bit defensively since the summer and is still just scratching the surface.
2) BEN WOODWARD | GEORGETOWN PREP | OVERALL RANK: #12
Woodward is a big wing who can shoot it. He was a reliable scoring option throughout his freshman campaign, good for a few made threes a night. All in all, Woodward is a smart player who is very good right now but has plenty of room to grow.
3) COREY CHESLEY | GOOD COUNSEL | OVERALL RANK: #23
It’s only a matter of time before Chesley carves out a significant role in Good Counsel’s rotation. He’s a very athletic, downhill-type wing who rebounds well from his position and can even block shots. Chesley offers intriguing versatility and obvious defensive potential.
4) TERRELL WEBSTER | ST. JOHN’S | OVERALL RANK: #30
Webster’s opportunities were few and far between as a freshman, but his future is bright and he’s due for a breakout sooner rather than later. He’s a very skilled player who and a talented shot-creator who is also a good athlete. Webster’s defense is steadily improving and that could be the key to unlocking his full ability.
5) KALEN COBB | DEMATHA | OVERALL RANK: #31
Cobb is a physically strong guard who has outstanding defensive potential. He can guard either guard spot or even some bigger wings. Cobb is best offensively in transition, where he can be tough to stop once he gets a full head of steam.
