Griffin had a really productive season. He was the second-leading scorer in his district and is big and athletic. His ball-handling is what improved the most in his game from last season. He scores the ball on all levels of the court. He has great timing and will pin his opponent shot on the glass almost every time or send it into the stands.

17.) [player_tooltip player_id="773471" first="Demari" last="Williams"] 6’4” WG | 2021 | Fulshear

Demari had another big year for his high school squad. He scored the ball at a high rate around the rim and in the mid-range. He was very active on the defensive end of the ball as well. He is athletic and can finish above the rim. He has a nice skillset with a solid motor on him.

18.) [player_tooltip player_id="889586" first="Charles" last="Chukwu"] 6’9 C | 2022 | Katy Paetow

Charles is very physical and is uber bouncy. He springs up so quickly off the ground it’s like watching a kangaroo bounce off the floor. He also has a super quick second jump as well that’s just as high. He is a defensive prowess in the paint and pulls down every rebound in his vicinity.

19.) [player_tooltip player_id="684397" first="R.J." last="Keene"] 6’6” SG | 2021 | Concordia Lutheran

RJ is a shooter who not only showcased his ability to shoot on the move and solid off-ball movement to get himself open and knockdown tough contested shots. He also showed his ability to put the ball on the ground and take his opponent to the rim from the wing. He also punched the ball down at least once a game.

20.) [player_tooltip player_id="887061" first="Jake" last="Arnold"] 6’1” SG | 2021 | Katy Taylor

Jake is one of the best shooters from the Greater Houston Area. He did more than just shoot the ball for his squad. He was a leader and got his teammates involved in the game and also was the team leader in steals and rebounds as well this year. He embodied the role of being the team leader and put his team on his back game in and game out.
