Early in the 16U division at Space City Collision, you already know I'm big on players that come out the gate and handle business—and a few guys did just that. From the opening tip, you could see who was ready: high motor, talking on defense, and making winning plays without needing the ball every possession. What stood out most was the pace and physicality—guys getting downhill, finishing through contact, and then turning around and competing on the defensive end. I always appreciate the ones who set the tone in those early games because that energy usually carries all weekend. These early standouts didn't ease into it—they came in and made their presence felt right away.

Cayden was instrumental in a tough early morning matchup, continuing to do what he does best—play steady, pick his spots, and control the game. He never looks rushed, just stays poised and lets the game come to him while making the right reads. That consistency keeps showing up every time out, and it's a big reason he's been one of the most reliable guards on the Prep Hoops Houston circuit.

Jaydin Moore—active, vocal, and a true leader. Brings a ton of energy that you can feel all over the floor. I love how he competes and communicates on the defensive end, then flips it into instant push-and-go opportunities after securing rebounds. His motor stays high, and it impacts both sides of the game. He was a big factor in helping his 1 Nation 16U–Richardson squad secure an early win.

Isaiah Logan — tough, tough guard that isn't afraid to go into iso mode and get a bucket when needed. Plays chest-to-chest on the defensive end, really makes you feel him with his physicality. Smooth and crafty offensively, picking his spots and creating just enough separation to make plays. He was key in leading his team to consecutive wins.

Goodwin is a compact, firebug guard that stays in attack mode. Uses his quickness and burst to get into the paint and create plays, constantly putting pressure on the defense. Plays with pace and confidence, especially in big moments. Came up clutch in a tight one, calmly knocking down two free throws in the closing moments to secure the win for his Beast Elite squad.

love the way he competes on the defensive end. Shows legit lateral quickness, consistently beating ball handlers to their spots and making things tough. Offensively, he uses long strides to get where he needs to be and plays efficient, never forcing the action. Stays within himself and produces, proving to be a reliable double-digit scorer while getting his buckets in the natural flow of the game.
