Jonathan Kuminga Jonathan Kuminga 6'8" | SF Patrick School | 2020 #1 Nation NJ | The Patrick School
This list is not possible without Kuminga. He is the top ranked prospect in the Class of 2021 according to ESPN. His college decision will be national news. The Patrick School product missed time this season with an ankle injury but he is dynamic when on the court. He is an all-around superstar that will succeed at the collegiate level and has the chance to be a lottery pick in the NBA.
Trey Patterson Trey Patterson 6'7" | SF Rutgers Prep | 2021 State #36 Nation NJ | Rutgers Prep
The Class of 2021 is deep but very top heavy. Patterson is next. Rutgers Prep was a top-five team in New Jersey all season long led by Patterson, who averaged a double-double. He scored 573 total points and was a huge playmaker right out of the gate. In the fifth game of the season, Patterson scored 43 points in a win over Immaculata. This was just two games after he put up 26 points and 20 rebounds against Malvern Prep (PA). Patterson is one of the more physically dominant presences because of his size, strength, athleticism, and versatility.
Noah Harris Noah Harris 6'0" | PG Rutgers Prep | 2021 State NJ | Rutgers Prep
Harris finished the season near the top of the state in assists. He finished with 213 total assists for an average of 7.3 per game. He ran the show for Rutgers Prep and did it well. Harris was also near the top of the leader board with 99 three’s in 2019-2020. He is a true do it all point guard. Harris is a flashy player that is hard to ignore when you watch Rutgers Prep, They will once again be one of the best teams in the state with both Harris and Patterson returning.
Jaylen Blakes Jaylen Blakes 6'1" | PG Blair Academy | 2021 State #121 Nation NJ | Blair
Blakes has seen his recruitment jump up this season. The 6’2 point guard is one of the best in the state. He is a scorer at all three levels. Blakes thrives at getting to the rim and scoring with contact. He is a Division I point guard that will excel at the next level. Blakes has offers from UConn, DePaul, Georgia, Rutgers, and Stanford, among many others. That list will continue to grow in his senior year as well.
Ta’Quan Woodley Ta’Quan Woodley 6'7" | PF Camden | 2021 State #221 Nation NJ | Camden
Woodley is the definition of strength on the post. He is a 6’7 forward that can dominate a game on the glass and be a presence on the defensive end. He has offers from Rutgers, South Carolina, and Temple. That number will rise over his final season. Woodley is a scorer down low with a soft touch around the rim. He can bully defenders inside and gain position. Camden finished as the top team in New Jersey this season and they have a chance to do it again with Woodley returning along with DJ Wagner and Jerome Brewer.
