With so many fantastic players in the junior class, there are some that don’t get enough attention as they should. Here are some of our diamonds in the rough in the 2021 class!

[player_tooltip player_id="938869" first="Jade" last="Watkins"] 6’4" / SF Newcastle

Watkins carries the load as a leader, on and off the court for his Newcastle squad. Bringing energy to the floor every single night, you can be sure Watkins will give it his all one hundred percent of the time. Shifty moves in the post and excellent rebounding makes Watkins a big any team has to worry about matching up against when they play Newcastle.

[player_tooltip player_id="938862" first="Damian" last="Kline"] 6’0" / PG Southmoore

Kline played his part for Southmoore in their path to the state playoffs but did not have his complete chance to shine behind Oklahoma Baptist commit [player_tooltip player_id="609752" first="Jordan" last="Thompson"]. Tough to guard with the ball in his hand and a pest on the defensive side of the ball. Expect Kline to shine his senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id="745385" first="Travon" last="Patton"] 5’10" / PG Putnam City

The small guard packs a punch for his Putnam City squad. The essential 3 and D guard any squad needs, Patton has a knack from causing a ruckus on the defensive end and finishes games with two to three steals a night.

[player_tooltip player_id="938861" first="Israel" last="Hart"] 6’1" PG Midwest City

Hart brings immediate energy off the bench for Midwest City and it would be a surprise if he remained on the bench his senior year. Playing with great confidence and being a dog on the defensive end, it is no surprise Hart’s coaches see him as one of their favorite players on their teams.

[player_tooltip player_id="938851" first="Josh" last="Price"] 6’3" / SG Edmond North

Price will let it rain from behind the arc if you aren’t careful. With the ability to shoot it from deep as well as sitting down and playing tough defense on the other end, Price plays hard and confidently and is someone you wouldn’t want to miss out on.
