Here’ Prep Hoops Kansas takes a look at several players who narrowly missed making the list.
Ethan Armstrong, 6’1, SF, 2022, Frankfort High, Bruna Elite
Currently Unranked Prospect
A strong athlete that can move fast and jumps well. Armstrong is an excellent jump shooter who plays defense and can make plays. He also helped Frankfort to the Class 1 state tournament in Dodge City this year.
Samuel Gros, 6’3, PF, 2022, Frankfort, Bruna Elite
Currently Unranked Prospect
Gros is an excellent defender and rebounderwho can score from anywhere from floor. He helped Frankfort to the Class 1 state tournament in Dodge City this year.
Emmitt Juenamen, 6’3, CG, 2022, Hanover High, Bruna Elite
Currently Unranked Prospect
Juenamen is a strong athlete who can jump, covers the whole floor with his quickness and length. He is a good shooter who rebounds well.
Jace Linebarger, 6’6, F, 2022, Hays, Ellis Elite
Currently Unranked Prospect
Linebarger has good size for a forward at 6’6, 205-pounds and is coming off a strong summer a year ago running with Ellis Elite. He was a big part of a squad that advanced all the way to the Class 5A state tournament semifinals before play was halted. He averaged 6.9 points and 4.4 rebounds this past season.
Brett Sarwinski, 5’10, G, 2022, Galena
Currently Unranked Prospect
A standout player for Galena who brings a scorer’s mentality and a high ceiling as an athlete. Sarwinski was named a CNC First Team All Conference player his sophomore year and was also in running for a player of the year award in his class. He can create with the ball and scores well from 3-point range, inside the perimeter and in transition. A player you should keep your eyes on and one that will likely move up our rankings in the future.
Noah Simmons, 6’7, F, 2022, Valley Center, NLHA
Currently Unranked Prospect
Simmons was a player who showed some promise last season for NLHA with a big frame and a soft shooting touch. However, he appeared in just seven varsity games this season for Valley Center making it difficult to evaluate his progress. A big summer could vault him into the rankings going forward.
Colton Weyer, 6’0, PG, 2022, Centralia High, Bruna Elite
Currently Unranked Prospect
Weyer is an excellent true PG that is always looking up to hit open teammates. He was atop TVL in assists per game in double figures. Weyer is a terrific outside shooter and excellent free throw shooter. He can attack the basket, hits open teammates with smart passes and can finish at rim.
