A sharpshooting guard with good size and length, Dix averaged 17.5 points a game as a sophomore and contributed across the board for the Lynx. Currently holds an offer from South Dakota State, and should see more coming with his ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.
Ruot Bijiek Ruot Bijiek 6'9" | C Dowling Catholic | 2020 AZ | C | Dowling Catholic | 43 to 3
A springy 6-9 big man, Bijiek didn’t see any varsity action for the Maroons this year, but is a quality prospect with great athleticism, size and length. A rim protector with the ability to run the floor and finish above the rim, he’s still quite raw and a work in progress, but there are an awful lot of tools to like here.
Tanner Te Slaa Tanner Te Slaa 6'5" | SF Boyden-Hull | 2022 State IA | SF | Boyden-Hull | 29 to 4
The leading scorer for a Boyden-Hull team that won the 2A title, Te Slaa is a long, active wing with the ability to score from all three levels. He’s a switchable defender with good, but not great, athleticism. He’ll need to continue to add weight, but he has the frame to do so.
Gabe Burkle Gabe Burkle 6'7" | PF Prairie | 2022 State IA | PF | Prairie | 12 to 9
Burkle has soft hands, good feet and runs the floor really well. A young big man with a solid frame to continue building on, he has an array of low post moves, rebounds at a high level and defends the post well. If he can add some range to his game, he may be one of the highest upside players in Iowa’s 2022 class. He led the Hawks in scoring and rebounding as a sophomore, and just keeps adding things to his game. With his size, mobility and skill, a move into the top 10 was warranted.
Trey Lewis Trey Lewis 5'10" | PG Johnston | 2022 State IA | PG | Johnston | 15 to 10
Lewis is a dynamic shooter who shot just under 50% from behind the arc as a sophomore. He’s cat quick with the ball, has great handles and a good feel for the game. The thing that’s holding him back is his size. He’s listed at 5-8, and is rail thin. He’ll need to grow a bit, and continue to get stronger, if he’s going to realize his full potential.
Lucas Lorenzen Lucas Lorenzen 6'4" | SF Okoboji | 2022 State IA | SF | Okoboji | 19 to 11
A long, skilled combo forward, Lorezen was remarkably productive as a sophomore, averaging 22.5 points and 12 rebounds with 53-44-75 shooting splits. He’s capable of doing a bit of everything on the floor, competes hard on each possession and has some versatility on the defensive end. High upside player.
Jevin Sullivan Jevin Sullivan 6'5" | SG North Polk | 2022 State IA | SG | North Polk | 31 to 13
Sullivan just keeps growing, and his length can be a major factor at the next level. A smooth guard with an excellent shooting stroke, he can fill it up in a hurry from anywhere on the floor. He needs to improve his ball handling and decision making, but as the only real threat for North Polk, he has the ball in his hands a lot.
Armonniey Thomas Armonniey Thomas 6'2" | PG Marshalltown | 2022 State IA | CG | Marshalltown | 45 to 15
Thomas is a long, athletic guard with blow-by ability. He’s a creative finisher around the rim and has a nice mid-range game. He’s a solid lead guard who can dish it, defends fairly well and contributes on the glass. If he can become a more consistent shooting threat, he could turn himself into a really nice prospect.
Elijah Ward Elijah Ward 6'2" | CG Prairie | 2022 State IA | CG | Prairie | 33 to 23
Ward is a talented lead guard with good length and creative finishing abilities around the rim. He looks to attack the bucket but is also a capable 3-point shooter. Uses his length and quickness to make an impact on the defensive end of the floor, and contributes on the glass.
Parker Elder Parker Elder 6'4" | SF Pella | 2022 State IA | SF | Pella | 49 to 37
Elder is one of the more intriguing prospects in the 2022 class because of his great athleticism. He has good length and size at 6-3, rebounds well, can defend multiple positions and finishes above the rim.
