Prep Hoops Wisconsin runs through some of the top seniors in Racine County.
Elijah Lambert Elijah Lambert 6'4" | SF Racine St. Catherine's | 2020 State WI (6’4 2020 W/F, Racine St. Catherine’s)- A first team All Metro Classic Conference selection, Elijah was the unsung hero for an undefeated St. Cats squad this year. Arguably the top prospect on this list, Elijah is a versatile player who averaged 10.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, while putting himself into consideration for top defender in the state. At 6’4 with a very strong frame, Elijah guarded players of all positions, and consistently limited production out of talented scorers. Offensively he is an explosive finisher who can power through contact or finish above the rim. Though he doesn’t take a lot of threes, he did shoot 35.7% from beyond the arc.
Nick Fugiasco Nick Fugiasco 6'3" | SG Racine Case | 2020 State WI (6’3 2020 G, Racine Case)- Another versatile player, Nick projects as a guard but played a lot as a forward for Case this past season. At 6’3 he has good size, and is a solid three point shooter having knocked down 32% of his looks from deep as a senior. Most impressive this season were his improvements as a high energy defender (1.8 spg), and a strong rebounder (5.9 rpg). Playing alongside a strong cast of talented scorers his looks were limited, but he averaged 8.6 ppg and finished the season strong with three straight games of 15+. D3 schools looking for a tough defender who can shoot from deep should take a look at Nick Fugiasco Nick Fugiasco 6'3" | SG Racine Case | 2020 State WI .
Noah Hilarides (5’11 2020 PG, Union Grove)- A really deep sleeper out of Union Grove, Noah Hilarides recently committed to D3 University of Dubuque. Starting at point guard for the Broncos this past season, Noah put together solid averages of 8.3 points, 3.6 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. Noah is a quick and athletic point guard who excels at getting to the basket to finish. He also has a knack for drawing contact, getting to the line 98 times this season, making 71% of his shots from the charity stripe.
Dylan Runkel Dylan Runkel 6'7" | PF Burlington | 2020 State WI (6’7 2020 F, Burlington)- A Division 1 committed football prospect, Runkel is also a high level talent on the basketball court. A strong framed forward, Dylan came back from an injury and had an all-conference season, scoring 12.8 points and 7.5 rebounds a game for Burlington. Runkel is a surprisingly quick athlete for someone his size, and has a quick burst with great timing on his shot block attempts.
Jermaine Tomlin (6’5 2020 W/F, Racine St. Catherine’s)- A two year member of the varsity team at Racine St. Cat’s, Jermaine played his senior season at Quality Education Academy in North Carolina before transferring back to St Cat’s for the second semester. A long and athletic wing-forward, Jermaine can knock down shots from outside, or attack the basket off the dribble and finish. A strong rebounder on the defensive end, Jermaine picked up offers from Missouri State and and Livingstone College over the winter.
Patrick Wade (6’1 2020 G, Racine Horlick)- One of the few brightspots for Horlick in a down year, Patrick Wade put up 10.6 ppg as a veteran presence on an inexperienced team. The athletic guard does the majority of his work attacking from the wing or getting to the rim in transition, but is also a decent shooter from outside when left open. The lefty guard is a great athlete who can blow by defenders and glide to the rim with his elite quickness.
Cameron Glembin (6’1 2020 G, Waterford)- One of the top performers in the Southern Lakes Conference this past season, Cameron Glembin can shoot the lights out from deep. After coming off the bench a majority of his junior year, Cameron transformed into a 17.8 ppg scorer who shot 37.5% from beyond the arc. Glembin has a quick release coming off screens and is also a crafty shot creator off one or two dribbles. He excels at utilizing a pump fake to send defenders flying by and is a crafty finisher when he gets to the rim.
