<p>South Jersey Group 4 ended with Atlantic City hoisting the trophy. It was an impressive performance by the No. 3 seed from the beginning. This bracket was blown up early with No. 16 Egg Harbor upsetting top-seed Toms River North in the first round. Here are the top performers from the tournament.</p>
<p><strong>MVP: [player_tooltip player_id="929533" first="Stephen" last="Byard"] (2020) | Atlantic City</strong></p>
<p>Byard was the driving force behind Atlantic City’s championship run. He scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the championship game over Cherry Hill East. This was after pouring in 38 points against Lenape. Byard was a rebounding machine this season. He has a knack for getting in the right position when a shot goes up. Byard proved that he can carry a team when the lights are brightest. </p>
<p><strong>First Team</strong></p>
<p><strong>Jake Green (2022) | Cherry Hill East: </strong>Green was one of the studs for Cherry Hill East during their run. He scored 28 points in a win over Eastern where he knocked down seven shots from three-point range. Green hit 13 three’s throughout the tournament. He is an elite shooter with off the bus range.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="931022" first="Drew" last="Greene"] (2022) | Cherry Hill East: </strong>Cherry Hill East is set up well with talent in the Class of 2022. Greene was a catalyst getting to the free throw line at will. He knocked down 23 free throws over three games. This contributed to 21 points in a semi-final win over Egg Harbor.</p>
<p><strong>DJ Germann (2023) | Egg Harbor: </strong>What a run it was for No. 16 Egg Harbor. They entered the tournament below .500 and ended up with a run to the semi-finals. Their freshman sensation finished with 13 points and five assists in an upset of Toms River North. He followed that up with 21 points in the quarters against Williamstown.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="929514" first="Zubair" last="Lee"] (2021) | Eastern: </strong>Lee was one of the best pure athletes in the tournament. He could jump through the roof which helped him rebounding the ball. Lee finished with 17 points and 15 rebounds against Rancocas Valley in the tournament. Lee will be back for one more season where he will have better instincts.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="850667" first="Derek" last="Simpson"] (2022) | Lenape: </strong>Simpson scored in double-figures in all but one game this season. He scored 525 points this season and averaged 23 per game during the tournament. </p>
