No matter if I have 6 guys or 10 they know each other and play like brothers. I love going to war with my guys every year and they show up for me and play hard.
2020 Goals? Our goal this year is simply to compete every single time we walk into a gym and to get scholarships for each kid on our team.
The Mission: 1. GOD FIRST 2. FAMILY 3. EDUCATION 4. BLAZER BASKETBALL (press ball from the opening tip to final buzzer).
Why Prep Hoops: We chose Prep Hoops as a no-brainer, by far the best non-shoe circuit for exposure, coaches will be out, ballertv records each game, and they have scouts evaluating. I don’t know anywhere else that I can play against EYBL teams like Team Griffin as we did last season.
Team Strengths: Our team strength is and will always be our defense. We have several kids that hate to get scored on and love locking kids up, they all want to guard the opponents best guy.
X-Factor Players:
| 6’2 | PG | DeMarcus Sanford Jr | is getting interest from several Div I schools. He’s long, great floor general, high basketball IQ, can get to the rim and currently leading his high school team with 15 dunks, deep 3 ball shooter. has major handles and is very unselfish. The kid loves setting his teammates up. He has several double/doubles with assist. Not too many pg you see with a putback, dunks off the rim and throwing it off the backboard with dunks.
