2020 Goals? Our goal for this spring/summer is to continue to develop these guys in to quality young men, while also developing them as players. Additionally, we will help them gain exposure from college programs and establish OWE as a premiere travel ball club in the country.
The Mission: We will motivate our players to achieve academic success as well as athletic scholarships. We will prepare our players for college life as well as the work field. In this light, we will create a strong network of college coaches that will be resourceful in helping further our student athletes’ educational endeavors. Through fulfilling this vision, we will create tradition, promote education, and, most importantly, help our players develop into successful young men.
Why Prep Hoops: We chose the Prep Hoops Circuit because of the platform they have created in high school basketball, and they are respected in every state. Another reason we chose this circuit was because of the competitive national circuit they have put together for the live periods and also having the option to design your own schedule as well.
Team Strengths: I believe our strengths are being able to play fast, defend, and score the basketball. We have some talented players all across the board. I think our team chemistry is another strength as well. These guys have been playing together for a while, so they know each other well. With the addition of a few others I think we will gel quickly.
X-Factor Players: We have talented kids all across the board but there is one kid that really sticks out in the group.
| Daniel Ortiz | is a 6’0″ PG with unlimited range and a very good ball handler. Ortiz is a decision-maker and can defend as well. He’s had a great Junior season and already has D1 offers.
Players to Watch:
| John Mitchell | is a 6’4 forward match-up nightmare for teams. He can score inside and out, handles the ball well, and can shoot the 3.
