Hightstown, Nottingham, Allentown, and Robbinsville were among the teams who finished near the top of the conference. For the Class of 2020, this was their final chance to show what they can do, and they did just that. Here are the top seniors from the CVC in 2019-2020.
First Team
RJ Weise RJ Weise 6'0" | SG State NJ | Allentown: Weise was one of the leaders of Allentown along with junior Brandon Pfeifer Brandon Pfeifer 6'0" | SG Allentown | 2021 State NJ . Weise proved to be the best senior in the conference averaging 18.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game this season. Weise will be at Rider next season looking to build off his incredible senior season.
Krishi Dattani | West Windsor-Plainsboro South: It was a tough year for the team going 8-17, but Dattani was able to put up some strong numbers. He scored a team-high 15.4 points per game. He was able to keep his team in a lot of games but fell just short. Dattani was a stat sheet filler from game one.
Javon Jenkins | Nottingham: Like many great players, Jenkins showed up the most when the lights were the brightest. He averaged 12.3 points per game and was Nottingham’s most consistent player. He scored 19 points in their semi-final loss in the state tournament.
Ben Simon | Hightstown: This was a team that had a lot of seniors who all knew their role. That is why they were able to finish at the top of the conference. Simon, the Elon baseball commit, proved that he is a force on the court as well. He led Hightstown in scoring and finished second in three’s made.
Gefen-Bar Cohen | Princeton: Cohen was one of the more dynamic players in the conference. He scored a team-high 15 points per game and also was among the leaders in the Colonial Valley Conference.
