Jordan Jones – Trinity Byrnes (Darlington) (pictured on the front)
Jones was great today for the Titans in the victory. Jones penetrated the gaps and got the ball to the basket when needed or found the open man in transition. Jones really showed another gear tonight and played like a senior on a mission. Jones finished the night with 21 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Jones ignited the Titans offense from start to finish. Jones a academic qualifier has been a 3 year starter for the Titans.
Amarion ColetrainAmarion Coletrain – Trinity Byrnes (Darlington)
Coletrain plays bigger than his size in the paint and isn’t afraid to draw contact. Coletrain is effective playing down low and he seems to know where he can be effective on the floor. Coletrain finished with 15 points in the victory over Pinewood Prep.
Thomas TylerThomas Tyler – Cardinal Newman
Tyler finished with 22 points in the Cardinals lopsided win over Northwood Academy. Tyler has a great stroke from behind the arc and nice quick release. Tyler seems to play better off the ball. Tyler shoots the ball at a high percentage and seems to take productive shots.
Jordan BurchJordan Burch – Hammond
Burch will suit up for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks next season on the gridiron. Burch won 3 state football championships with the Skyhawks. Hammond a left-handed bull in a china shop is extremely skilled for his size and nimble on the floor. Burch helped the Skyhawks defeat Porter Gaud in the opening round on his way to 19 points.
Isaiah CaldwellIsaiah Caldwell – Heathwood Hall
Caldwell will play next season at Army-West Point with his brother Josh. Caldwell finished his career with 1,309 points in a Highlanders uniform. Caldwell a long and rangy guard got the ball to the basket tonight. Caldwell finished off a great career in a Highlanders uniform and will be a tough one to replace for Head Coach Jeff Whalen.
Tobias LafayetteTobias Lafayette – Porter Gaud
Lafayette a point guard was able to connect on some shot from behind the three point line tonight. Lafayette plays the game at a nice even keel and also excesl on the football field as a wide receiver. Lafayette plays ever possession likes its his last one on the floor. Lafayette has a really good feel for the game.
