Luke Adams, 6’0, PG, 2021, Blue Valley North
Adams brings leadership and control to the floor. A solid lead guard who can handle all the responsibilities of the point position. He is a standout 3-point shooter and has a mid-range game and inability to score off balance near the glass. He has a strong frame at 6’0 and brings good bounce and physicality to the floor. Adams also brings great vision and looks to push the tempo as both a defensive player on the perimeter and on offense and in transition.
Harrison Braudis, 6’0, PG, 2021, Bishop Miege
Blessed with length, hops and ability to make plays as a rebounder. Braudis is a strong guard who can play with and without the ball. He can dial in his outside shot quickly and can connect with a hand in his face given his high release point. Braudis just plays bigger than his listed height and is an excellent defender around the glass who looks to block shots and force opponents to use their dribble or pass out. He is a terrific leader with a seasoned game that translates to positive outcomes on both ends of the floor.
Michael Cahill, 6’1, PG, 2021, St. James
Cahill is a strong ball-handler who is good at getting those around him involved. He can score for himself and run the floor and has a good eye for transition and play and feeding the ball to the post. also a good defensive player on the perimeter, he looks too uses speed and size to his advantage and it’s good at switching off on opponents and contesting shots. Cahill is averaging 8.8 points, three assists, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.3 steals. He’s shooting 33 percent from 3-point range. He has the ability to score a lot of points but also looks to move the ball.
Jack Chapman, 6’5, G/F, 2021, Blue Valley Northwest
A tough competitor who brings an elite scoring ability to the floor. He’s listed at 6’5 and adds length and passion that makes him difficult to stop when he’s dialed in and firing on all cylinders. Chapman looks to score from three-point range, a player who usually has a height advantage for perimeter play. He shoots a high percentage from a distance and is also comfortable moving and scoring in the mid-range area and using the glass on his jump shots. He always seems to find transition looks and can jam it down opponents throats with his two-handed slam through contact.
Alston Mason, 5’10, G, 2021, Blue Valley Northwest
An elite guard in the state who has terrific handles and an athletic twitch to his game that can fake out opponents and leave them a step behind. He has terrific vision and is a great passer, looking to move the ball and get his teammates involved both behind the 3-point line and around the glass. He can score for himself and is good in one-on-one situations. He’s lanky and athletic and a sneaky defender who gets a lot of open looks in transition.
