Max Alexander, 6’0, G, 2021, Buhler
A dominant two-way player who has good bounce, strength and flexibility on the floor. Alexander has always been impressive on defense as he has good speed, toughness and the ability to switch off and defend a variety of positions. He’s a hard-nosed competitor who is reaping the benefit of playing up an age group during consecutive summers with Pray-N-Play. Alexander is scoring a team-high 24 points per game and adds six assists and three rebounds. He’s shooting over 50 percent from the field, 83 percent from the free throw line and 50 percent from 3-point range.
Seth Madron, 6’2, G, 2022, McPherson
The young standout is putting together a strong sophomore season. Madron is averaging a team-high 18.2 points per game while shooting 54 percent from the field and 36 percent from the free throw line. He is also averaging six rebounds per game, showcasing a terrific eye for the ball on both sides of the floor. He’s an aggressive player and one that just seems to find a way to get his shots off. A player to keep your eyes on.
Jaheem Ray, 5’7, G, 2020, Newton
A nice athlete for Newton who showed off an improved game over the summer with Grind Elite. He’s a good scorer and can catch-and-score and also handle the ball some and move inside and score off the glass. A talented player who also shows up on defense. Ray doesn’t have terrific size but can make plays across the boards. Ray is averaging 16 points, two rebounds and two steals per game.
Trey Reid, 6’0, G, 2020, Maize South
Reid is a dominant point guard who can defend anyone on the perimeter and always seems to find ways to get the best of them. He’s quick, aggressive and knows how to put himself in a position to score and force turnovers. Reid had an impressive summer with NLHA and showcased terrific leadership and creativity with and without the ball. Reid is averaging a team-high 18.5 points per game while shooting a strong percentage from the free throw line. Opposing teams are game-planning for Reid and he still finds ways to get on the board.
Jordan Vincent, 6’3, G, 2020, Eisenhower
A nice combo guard who can see time with the ball in his hands. He has great size for the position and can handle the responsibilities of the wing. He can operate as a slasher, a catch-and-shoot player and finds buckets around the rim. He’s a good defensive player who uses his size and length well and can switch-off and defend positions across the floor. He’s averaging an impressive 21.5 points per game, seven assists, six rebounds and two steals per game. He’s shooting 47 percent from the field and 80 percent from the free throw line.
