Ryan Smith (2021) | Robbinsville
Smith might lead the conference in scoring when it is all said and done. At 6’4, he is dominating the game from down low and from the free throw line. Smith is averaging just under 20 points per game to begin his junior season. His season-high came in a win over Brick Township where he poured in 24 points, eight from the free throw line. There cannot be any list about the CVC without Smith being on it.
RJ Weise (2020) | Allentown
Weise is a complete stat sheet filler. He has scored 20 or more points in his last three games but that is not all. In a win over Ewing, Weise finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. In the previous game, Weise scored just eight points but he grabbed 15 rebounds and dished out eight assists. Weise is a complete guard who can get his teammates involved and put the ball in the basket. It is no surprise that Allentown is off to a hot start.
Brandon Pfeifer (2021) | Allentown
Pfeifer is the other half of a dynamic duo on Allentown. He has scored double-digits in every game this season and is showing no signs of slowing down. Pfeifer is averaging 18 points per game so far this season and is doing it from all over the floor. He is averaging over two three-pointers per game and has the ability to get to the line as well. Allentown is in a good spot for this season with Weise and Pfeifer leading the way.
Ben Simon (2020) | Hightstown
Simon is the classic do-it-all point guard. He has scored double-digits in seven of Hightstown’s eight games this season. His best performance came in a win over South Brunswick when he finished with 29 points, six rebounds, and eight assists. Simon is leading the way for Hightstown this season and he will continue to do so in his senior year.
Maurice Williams (2022) | Hamilton West
Williams is the lone sophomore on the list. He is averaging 13 points per game and is a key contributor to Hamilton West. He scored a season-high 20 points in a win over Allentown. On his way to 20 points, Williams knocked down three shots from behind the arc and scored seven points from the free throw line. Williams is a guard who is quick enough to get by you or step out and shoot from deep. His scoring ability will only continue to improve as his career moves forward.
