Graham Ike
Graham Ike, sadly this year, is out due to injury but is still ranked at our number 4 spot. This shows how good he is even without playing; we know the talent is there. He has yet to commit to a college but has offers from UMass, Washington State, St. Louis, and a few more. Graham is a good traditional big man who can stretch the floor by hitting some mid range jumpers. He stands at 6’10 and has a good frame that helps him move smaller players to get shots or dunks at the rim. Graham may be back before the playoffs which would be beneficial to Overland.
Caleb McGill
The UC Davis commit, Caleb McGill, is having a great senior season leading Grandview to being a top five team in the state. He is averaging 16.1 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Standing at 6’7 he plays at the power forward position. He does everything you want out of a modern power forward: he is a good athlete, can shoot from the outside, bang down low, and crash the boards. It will be fun to see how Caleb’s game translates to the next level.
Lucas Moerman
The Colorado Springs product, Lucas Moerman, committed to the Air Force Academy in the Fall of 2019. Standing at a lengthy 6’11 Lucas makes his biggest impact on the defensive end of the floor. He uses his length to block shots and scare players out of the paint. Also, he is surprisingly agile on his feet, which he uses to get in position to catch lobs and get put back dunks or tip ins. This year Lucas is putting up a good stat line of 12.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 4.3 blocks per game.
Trevor Baskin
Trevor Baskin is having one of the most impressive years in the state. He is averaging 25.6 points, 6.2 assists, 12.1 rebounds, 2.7 steals, and 4.5 blocks per game, yes he truly is averaging these numbers! He is leading Pomona to solid a season, coming fresh off a huge win against top five East team. Trevor committed to Colorado Mesa University (they got an absolute steal!). Trevor, standing at 6’8, can do a little bit of everything from the power forward position, he takes the ball up the floor, can shoot from the outside, play good defense, and attack inside.
Jalen Page
Jalen Page is someone who does not make the highlight plays but does so many little things right on the court. Standing at 6’5, Jalen is not the biggest power forward but he uses his strong frame to get what he wants on the court. Jalen has a Tim Duncan essence on the court, not saying he is going to be Tim Duncan, but he does not usually make any flashy plays, but makes the right play. He has a nice shot from the mid range and a good set of post moves down low. This year he is averaging 12.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks per game. He is one of the best players on a top ten Fairview team.
