6’8 F Ethan Potter of Layton High School
The first player on this list because the growth that we are seeing is starting to show us that Ethan Potter might have the highest upside out of most of the bigs in the 2021 Class. In no time he will have an offer from every Division 1 school in the state.
Layton High School has been rolling. tonight they put it on the line as they face Lone Peak. Should be an excellent game featuring so great players.
6’6 W Andre Mulibea of East High School
The 6’6 Wing gave it his all as he put East on his back and almost took down Woods Cross one of the hotter teams in 5A. When you’re 6’6 and hitting three after three to total 34 points in a two point loss away from home you’re giving maximum effort. He is strong. skilled and has a great motor.
6’2 PG Taft Mitchell of Orem High School
This kid is a must see point guard. He has high IQ and can handle the ball with ease. He is a knockdown shooter from deep. His 24 point 4 three-pointer performance was a reflection of his talent.
Orem High School has a great resume of teams they have played and they have some complementary players for a great season and 5A run.
Today’s Action
Delta & Beaver square off in what could be a great battle. Good luck to the Beaver players in trying to stop Delta’s Derek Smith who is leading the state in scoring.
