<p>The first slate of games directly after the Winter break will come to an end on Saturday. Here is Saturday’s early afternoon schedule:</p>

<p><strong>John Mall (1-6) vs Fowler (4-2)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Jaziah Sandoval (2020 C)</strong> and the John Mall Panthers will be looking to get their second win against the Grizzlies. Sandoval is averaging a double-double with 16.7 points and 12.3 rebounds a game. <strong>Tyler Aguirre (2021 F/G)</strong> will also be looking to add to his 6.3 points and 8 rebounds average in this contest.</p>
<p>Fowler’s <strong>Val Leone (2021 G) </strong>and <strong>Jonathan Mobbley (2020 C) </strong>will be leading the charge in hopes to improve their record. Leone is averaging 18.3 points and 7.2 rebounds a game while Mobbley is recording 13 points and 11.8 rebounds a contest. Add <strong>Gabriel Proctor’s (2021 G)</strong> 13.5 points and 5.8 rebound average to the equation and the Grizzlies equal tough competition.</p>

<p><strong>Resurrection Christian (6-0) vs Lutheran (4-1)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Recce Johnson (2020 G)</strong> is putting up 18.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game while teammate <strong>Isaac Jessup (2020 G)</strong> has recorded 17.2 points, 6 steals, and 5.3 points a game. With that type of firepower, it comes as no surprise that Resurrection Christian is doing so well.</p>
<p>Lutheran’s Freshman phenom <strong>Baye Fall (2023 F/C)</strong> is no pushover. Fall has recorded four double-doubles, bringing his average to 27.8 points and 11.8 rebounds a game. <strong>Tommy Apodaca’s (2021 G) </strong>11.8 points, 9.2 assists, and 4 steals a game simply add to Lion’s arsenal. How’s that for a marquee matchup?</p>

<p><strong>Ponderosa (5-3) vs Thomas Jefferson (4-4)</strong></p>
<p>Ponderosa’s senior shooters <strong>Gabe McDevitt (2020 G) </strong>and <strong>Austin Valdez (2020 G)</strong> have accumulated 223 points, 73 rebounds, and 45 assists on the season. <strong>Luke Bille’s (2020 G)</strong> 97 points, 23 rebounds, and 40 assists on the season simply adds to a roster that is already pretty strong.</p>
<p>The Spartans will be looking to <strong>Darius Hornbuckle (2020 G)</strong> and <strong>Ryan Moe (2021 G)</strong> to rally their team against this tough competition. Hornbuckle is averaging 17.8 points and 2.9 rebounds a game while Ryan has recorded 8.3 points and 3 rebounds per game this season.</p>

<p><strong>Pine Creek (5-1) vs Fountain-Fort Carson (6-4)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Peyton Westfall (2020 G)</strong>, 14.6 points per game, and <strong>Kedarian Maul (2020 F),</strong> 7.8 points and 9.8 rebounds a game, and their fellow Eagles will have a tough matchup against the Trojans.</p>
<p>Fountain-Fort Carson’s <strong>Keyshawn Maltbia (2020 G/F)</strong> and <strong>Isaiah Thompson (2021 F/G) </strong>are absolutely electric players. Maltbia is averaging 19.8 points and 5.4 rebounds a game while Thompson has recorded four double-doubles on the season with a 14.8 point and 12.4 rebounds per game average.</p>

<p><strong>Littleton (3-5) vs John F. Kennedy (3-5)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kai Bertram (2020 G)</strong> has put up 162 points for the Littleton Lions this season, averaging 20.3 points a game. Teammate <strong>Tayvis Sagrillo-Smiley (2020 F)</strong> has an average of 16.8 points and 6.6 rebounds a game.</p>
<p>Kennedy’s <strong>Ezekial Estrada (2020 G/F)</strong> is averaging 18.3 points per game, while <strong>Albert Ursetta (2020 G/F)</strong> has an average of 12.4 points and 3.3 rebounds a game. Expect for an evenly matched game with this one.</p>

<p><strong>Legacy (3-7) vs Dakota Ridge (2-5)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Gavin Poxson (2021 G)</strong> and the Legacy Lightning will be looking to bounce back in this game. Poxson averaged 13.5 points a game while teammate <strong>Tyson Spradling (2021 F/G)</strong> has recorded 6.6 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.</p>
<p>Dakota Ridge’s <strong>Taeshaud Jackson Jr. (2021 F/C),</strong> 15.4 points and 9.7 rebound average, and <strong>Gino Corridori (2021 F/C)</strong>, averaging 14.8 points and 9 rebounds a game, will also be looking to bounce back after quite a few close loses.</p>

<p><strong>Rangeview (8-0) vs Columbine (6-0)</strong></p>
<p>One of the biggest games of the weekend will be this one. <strong>Christopher Speller (2020 G) </strong>and <strong>Christian Speller (2020 G)</strong> will be leading the #1 ranked Raiders against an undefeated Columbine. Christopher has averaged 13.3 points and 5.5 rebounds while Christian has recorded 12.1 points and 6.5 rebounds a game.</p>
<p>The #10 ranked Rebels will be led by <strong>Luke O’Brien (2020 G) </strong>who has an average of 28.2 points and 11.3 rebounds per game with four double-doubles on the season. Teammate <strong>Jeff Potts (2020 G)</strong>, who has an average of 8.8 points and 2.8 rebounds a game, will be looking to help knock off the reigning state champs.</p>
