The SaberCats <a href="https://prephoops.com/2018/11/four-takeaways-edmond-memorial-vs-southmoore/">lost a match on opening night to the Bulldogs</a> last season, but Godwin and the Cats will hope to overload their adversary tonight. [player_tooltip player_id="954194" first="JV" last="Seat"] could be the benefactor of a small-sided Memorial team that will rely on the strong sophomore to contribute in the post. If Thompson and [player_tooltip player_id="931226" first="Darrin" last="Ryan"] can get their shots to fall, however, it could spell catastrophe for the Bulldogs. Writers Bryce McKinnis (<a href="http://twitter.com/mckinnisbryce">@McKinnisBryce</a>) and Josh Cleary (<a href="https://twitter.com/JoshuaRCleary">@JoshuaRCleary</a>) will be taking care of the photos, video and coverage from that game. <hr /> (6A) No. 8 Edmond North at Mustang / 7:30 p.m. → [player_tooltip player_id="745358" first="Dalante" last="Shannon"], [player_tooltip player_id="745382" first="Joell" last="Wilson"], [player_tooltip player_id="745366" first="Landry" last="Harris"] and the mighty Edmond North scoring attack will look to open the season with a momentous game against Mustang. Don't put the Broncos down, however; with the additions of coach Scott Hodges and [player_tooltip player_id="955384" first="Ethan" last="Scott"], the Broncos could be a much-improved talent in 6A this season as they will look to get the year off on the right foot. Brandon Willis <a href="https://twitter.com/WorldwideWillis">(@WorldwideWillis)</a> will provide live and post-game coverage for Prep Hoops Oklahoma. <hr /> (6A) No. 20 Lawton at No. 17 Choctaw / 7:30 p.m. → Lawton taking on Choctaw could be the slept-on matchup of the evening. [player_tooltip player_id="734061" first="Eric" last="Gooden"] and Anthony Bowen will lead the way for an improved Choctaw squad, including the experienced leadership of coach Jermaine Simpson and newcomer [player_tooltip player_id="745371" first="Sean" last="Franklin"] into the mix. Under the gritty, heady play of scoring guard [player_tooltip player_id="745369" first="Marty" last="Perry"], however, Lawton could be a sneaky team to watch for this season. <hr /> (5A) No. 2 Del City at (6A) No. 12 Putnam City / 7:30 p.m. → The talents of [player_tooltip player_id="931201" first="Demontreal" last="Crutchfield"] and [player_tooltip player_id="931188" first="Nate" last="Goodlow"] will certainly be a task for the Pirates, but if anybody can handle a stout back-court tandem, it's the show-stopping talents of [player_tooltip player_id="609796" first="N'Kozi" last="Harris"] and [player_tooltip player_id="931204" first="KD" last="Jolly"]. The Pirates look to secure a win in their second game, while the Eagles will vie to start their season 1-0. <hr /> (4A) Tulsa McLain at (5A) No. 1 Tulsa Memorial / 7:30 p.m. → It's no surprise that [player_tooltip player_id="535607" first="Kavon" last="Key"] and the defending State Champs are already expected to make headline again this season. Coach Bobby Allison will look to lead the Chargers to a win tonight against cross-city rival Tulsa McLain. Zach Cobler <a href="https://twitter.com/Zbc7">(@Zbc7) </a>will provide live and post-game coverage of this game for Prep Hoops Oklahoma. <hr /> (4A) No. 7 Ada at No. 1 Heritage Hall / 7:30 p.m. → The stakes could be higher for the Chargers -- and No. 1 prospect [player_tooltip player_id="535625" first="Trey" last="Alexander"] -- than you might realize. Anytime you have a battle of the top two prospects in the state in a single game, you can expect fireworks; and that's exactly what you'll see tonight if you take the trip down 122nd St. as No. 2 junior prospect [player_tooltip player_id="535627" first="Jaxson" last="Robinson"] travels to take on his Team Griffin Teammate for a big-time 4A matchup.
