Ward has his game primed and ready for the coming season. It all starts on the defensive end. He can guard multiple positions and plays nose-to-nose D. Ward uses his quick feet to keep good position on his man. He plays a downhill style on offense. Ward can attack the rim off the dribble and is a solid passer off the drive.
Ward understands that improvement and experience in big games are critical to his development as a player. He is currently focused and working on getting better as a shooter. Ward’s is looking forward to a big matchup with Southfield Christian this season.
Jauwan Ward definitely has things to offer a program at the next level. He plays the game with, and brings to his team, a desire and passion. Ward will also bring leadership to a team. A college coach will like his ability to pass and spread the floor.
Ward is focused on achieving his goals, both in basketball and otherwise. This season he wants to have everyone play their roles and looks to lead the charge defensively. He wants to be a part of a championship season. Ward dreams of playing professionally someday. Off the court, he wants to become a Robotic Engineer.
