Jamarii Thomas – Point Guard – Piedmont Classical
Jamarii Thomas is a point guard at Piedmont Classical to watch out for this high school season. Thomas and company were challenged in their final game against the Wildcats, but they answered every run with him leading the way. He’s an explosive point guard that plays both ends with tons of energy. He scored 19 points, scoring in a variety of ways from the floor and the free-throw line. He makes the game look easy with his control of the pace with the ball. He’s a prospect to watch in the 2021 class.
Mike Maxwell – Guard – Page
Mike Maxwell was a solid performer in the final week of fall league for the Pirates. He’s solid at the drive and kick game, getting the ball to open players in rhythm. On drives to the rim, he finishes strong in traffic. On defense, he defends the ball with purpose and forces turnovers with his ball pressure.
Zion Connor – Wing – Page
Zion Connor is an emerging wing prospect for the Pirates with tremendous potential. He’s an aggressive scorer that gets to the rim whenever he can. Connor showed flashes of his scoring ability by finishing off the dribble on a number of drives to the basket. He dives on the floor for loose balls and uses his athleticism to his advantage when he’s on the floor. He’s a player with nice size at 6-foot-3 to keep eyes on.
Owen Koivisto – Guard – Ronald Reagan
Owen Koivisto is an underrated guard that put on a show against the Eagles. Koivisto is a tough driver that’s smart getting to the rim. He uses his body well to finish in the paint and had a number of tough finishes in the paint to show his prowess.
Peyton Harmon – Forward – Mount Airy
Peyton Harmon is an active forward in the paint that made noise in an exciting game against the Demons. Harmon showed poise with his good hands and movement in the post on both ends. He’s learning to fight for rebounds and has a nice touch around the rim for a player of his size at 6-foot-6. He had a strong final weekend in the Triad Fall League.
