Benton Harbor
Kentrell Pullian (2021, 5’10”, G)
Trucell Singleton (2022, 5’11”, G)
Benton Harbor will be one of the top contenders for a state championship this coming season. Pullian at the lead guard dishing to Scooby Johnson……..TOUGH. Pullian was lights out at the Top 250. Singleton is yet another superb athlete that is obviously well coached at Benton Harbor.
Caledonia
Andrew Larson (2021, 6’5″, F)
Koby VanderWoude (2021, 5’10”, G)
Caledonia has a very nice set of juniors. With VanderWoude stalking the perimeter and Larson using his height and versatility, they will be a dangerous combo.
Grand Haven
Owen Ross (2020, 6’5″, F)
Nick Stump (2022, 6’4″, F)
This is a really nice combination of a veteran forward and a young up and coming forward. Ross has the looks of a small college power forward that may average a double-double. Stump is very versatile with a solid jumper and the ability to step in the paint and rebound.
Howell
Tony Honkala (2020, 6’2″, G)
Bobby Samples (2020, 6’1″, G)
After a record breaking season, Howell is faced with life after Josh Palo. Samples and Honkala will make transition as easy as can be expected. Samples is a skilled player on the perimeter. Honkala was one of the best players on the floor in Howell’s state semifinals loss. He’s tough defensively and has a nice mid range jumper.
L’Anse Creuse North
Christian Johnson (2021, 6’0″, G)
Jemari Mack (2021, 6’2″, G)
Jack MacLeod (2020, 6’2″, G)
This will be a team to watch out for. I expect L’Anse Creuse North to really sneak up on some people. Johnson is an elite floor general and moving on and way up recruiting boards. Mack is a strong, physical guard that cuts to the bucket. MacCleod’s game intertwines with these 2 almost perfectly.
Linden
Elijah Bell (2021, 5’10”, G)
Shane Eberhard (2022, 5’11”, G)
Blake Lund (2021, 6’1″, G)
Reichen Lund (2022, 5’11”, G)
Matt Wisniewski (2021, 6’4″, F)
Linden has tons of perimeter talent for the next 2 years. Eberhard looks like a nice young distributor, Blake Lund is a superstar and All-State candidate, Reichen Lund is a good defender and vastly improved, and Elijah Bell is an underrated shooter and floor leader. Wisniewski is a perfect compliment to the guards, as he’s versatile and springy under the rim.
North Farmington
Justus Clark (2020, 5’11”, G)
William Clinkscales II (2022, 5’8″, G)
The point guard position is in good hands at North Farmington for a few years with these 2. Clark is a prototypical lead guard that brings a winning demeanor. Clinkscales II is a nice ball handler with bursts of speed.
Saline
Cooper Fairman (2022, 6’3″, G/F)
George VanHaaften (2022, 5’11”, G)
Fairman was one of the most improved players at the Top 250. He’s developing as a perimeter player and could take a huge leap next season. Fairman is an excellent lockerroom prescence as well, and the kind of young man college coaches want in their program. VanHaaften played like a physical 2 guard. He rebounds well from the perimeter. Both, in Coach Fosdick fashion, will be solid defensively.
