Battle in Bullhead: 2nd Team

<p>Below are the prospects who eared the distinction of being on the 2nd Team for the Battle in Bullhead. </p> <h2>Battle in Bullhead: 2nd Team</h2> <h3>Julius Williams 6'3 SF 2023 Ironwood</h3> <p>Williams looked more explosive and showed an improved ability to shoot the basketball. The freshman is extremely skilled and looks like he is coming into his own. As he continues to mature, mentally and physically, Williams has the potential to be an extremely special prospect. He has good strength and size already to add to an improved skill set which will allow him to play multiple positions.</p> <h3>Josh Fletcher 6'3 SF 2021 Estrella Foothills</h3> <p>As Fletcher got more and more comfortable, he was able to show the improvements to his game. He has size and a good frame which draws attention to him. However, his improved skill set made the coaches and Prep Hoops staff continue to watch him.</p> <p>He shot the basketball well from deep and showed an ability to create off of rip throughs and dribble attacks. Further, he finished well around the rim.</p> <h3>Aaron Rice 5'11 PG 2020 Ironwood</h3> <p>Rice was one of the best passers at the event. He has a nice feel for the game which enabled him to find his open teammates as well as create for himself. In addition, he shot the basketball well enough from the three and mid-range to demand the respect of opposing defenders.</p> <h3>Chris Flores 5'8 PG 2020 Mohave</h3> <p>Flores plays with a chip on his shoulder. He competes on every possession and is extremely quick. His quickness aided him in creating for himself off of the dribble.</p> <p>While he is somewhat undersized, he demonstrated that he is skilled enough to still finish around the rim among the trees. Further, on the defensive end of the floor, he did a good job of keeping the basketball in front. His lateral quickness made him a pest on the ball.</p> <h3>Matin Strong 5'10 2022 Valley Vista</h3> <p>Strong was a consistent playmaker all weekend. He shot the basketball at a strong level throughout the event. Further, he demonstrated that he can hit tough shots from multiple spots on the floor.</p> <p>Strong, like some of the guards on at the event, is a little undersized. However, he scored the basketball in a way that translates to multiple levels. His continued development will be fun to monitor.</p>
