David Robinson Senior Braswell
Robinson is a lead guard with a shifty handle package. He uses quick movements to break down defense ls to get in the paint and make decisions. He directs traffic letting his teammates know where the ball needs to be for the best scoring opportunity.
As a one-on-one scorer, he’s truly a three-level threat. With a live ball, he’s in range from the college three making two of his 2 of his pull up three over two games. From the midrange, he went one of two in the same amount. His scoring around the rim was most impressive as his most effective game cane against a seven-footer finishing over him in 5 of 6 attempts.
Jaiden Blaylock Sophomore Braswell
Blaylock is a part of Braswell’s five sharpshooting guard rotation. Currently, he’s used as a spot up shooter and excels at it. In two games he went 4/6 from the three-point line. He showed flashes of playmaking potential as several of his drives to the baskets ended with a clean look for his teammates.
The 5-10 guard shows sign of being a lead ball handler as well. As a break starter, Blaylock streaks past defenders in the open court. He broke full court presses against athletic without turning the ball over.
Logan McLaughlin Senior Hebron
McLaughlin creates scoring opportunities for himself at the high school level every chance that he gets. His athleticism allows him to get to the rim at will. In two games he created what would have 16 FTA in a regulation game by drawing fouls while attacking the basket.
MJ Leslie Senior Braswell
Leslie’s one of the best pure shooters in the DFW. Over two games he shot well above 40% from three going 3 for 5 in one game. He has a quick, high release and is deadeye with a hand in his face.
Obi Onyia Senior Sachse
This stocky six-foot guard separates himself from the pack thanks to his speed, quickness, and grit. He blows by defenders with change of speed moves and welcomes contact when not using his floater package.
Onyia is built to run an offense. He understands the value of ball movement and it’s contagious for the guys he plays with. He directed his teammates into multiple assists during a series of fall league games.
He’s a pass-first point guard but knows when to take over when his team is struggling. He creates his scoring opportunities many leading to fouls as he gets to the lane. When off the ball he uses an array of cuts to make space for his shot.
