Jaden Terrell (Wheeling – 2021)
Terrell is a three and D wing that is a capable shooter from the perimeter and can defend multiple positions. He helped his stock the most with his ability to slash with improved handles and score in a wider range of ways.
Jeffery Oakley (Perspectives – 2021)
Oakley’s stock goes up and up every single time he hits the court. Long and rangy wing with a wiry frame. What I like about him is how hard he plays and his upside as a two way player.
Tommie Williams (Belleville West – 2021)
Speaking of two way players that was what stood out most about this metro east wing. He was impactful defensively getting steals and turning them into scores. Showed an improved all-around game on the offensive end.
Devon Vanderheydt (Washington – 2021)
This forward showed he can play both the three and as a small ball four. What he is best at is spacing the floor with his perimeter shooting. Feathery jumper from three which he drained with ease all day.
Bryson Tatum (Urbana – 2020)
Tatum opened eyes with his scoring pop. Got buckets from multiple levels throughout the day. Shot it well from three and used his strength to finish through contact inside.
Christian Meeks (Homewood Flossmoor – 2022)
Meeks is a high energy wing that plays with so much effort on both ends of the floor. That translated into production at Top 250. Tough perimeter defender and is a tough scorer from mid-range in.
Robbie Avila (Oak Forest – 2022)
Avila was the most impressive young prospect at the event. He displayed such an efficiently skilled game down on the low block. The 6’8” four man has a soft touch, rebounds, runs the court, stretches the floor with his shooting, and showed more athleticism than we had seen in the past.
Matt Williams (Peoria Notre Dame – 2021)
This small forward has added strength which has opened up more athleticism to his game. Had a couple strong drives to the hoop and played tough all day long.
Connor Barnett (Fulton – 2021)
Barnett can really shoot the basketball! This 6’2” combo guard continues to see his stock rise with a strong showing drilling feathery jumpers all over the floor.
Jake Dimovski (Downers Grove South – 2021)
Really enjoyed watching this crafty point guard play. He dished the rock with flair. Made sound decisions with the ball and got others involved while making crafty layups.
Grayson Goetz (Oswego East – 2020)
Goetz played about as well as we have seen him in his career. The Oswego East wing is a glue guy that plays so hard. He was active defensively and assertive taking it to the cup.
