The squad really got after it during the times that they were on the court and although the team is pretty much made up of all new players, they look as though they already have developed some nice chemistry.
2020 Guard Greg Moneymaker: He was the best guard that we saw in the gym on the day as he pretty much had his way throughout the scrimmaging session. His team went down early but once his shot started falling, he was a tough player to stop as he understands how to get his shot off against various forms of defensive pressure.
2020 Guard Jamael Carter: Does a nice job of getting the ball up the floor and finding ways to get his teammates involved. He handles pressure pretty well by getting to his spots, not over dribbling and using his IQ to make the correct move at the right time. Three point shooting is another strength in his game that we should see throughout the season which will only help to space the floor for the Eagles.
2020 Guard Alijah Miles: We love the energy he brings to the floor, especially on the defensive end of the court where he seems to be constantly applying pressure. Every team needs a player that you can throw in the game to be a problem on the defensive side of the floor and that’s what he can possibly be for his team.
2020 Wing Austin Locklear: Early on he brought the most energy of any player, he was constantly talking during drill work and caught fire during the scrimmage portions. Athleticism wise you can see the next level potential as well as his ability to knock down the midrange shot, which for many youngsters is a lost art.
2020 Forward/Center Jeremyah McWilliams: Following a successful junior high school season and a solid year of AAU ball with Garner Road, he’s looking to have a nice senior season as he should see quite a bit of time for this group. The legit 6’8 with a long wingspan and the ability to score inside and out, is one that college coaches should already be keeping an eye on. He’s a high character young man off the court and is still only scratching the surface with how good he can potentially be.
2020 Forward Milos Prodanovic: He just got to the US last week so of course he’s going through his adjustment period at this point but he has some upside and should be a nice player once he gets settled in. He has size of course as well as the ability to stretch a defense with his shooting, once he adjust to the physicality of the game he will be solid.
