Ronald Holland | PF | Duncanville | 2023
Holland was sensational at Day 1 of the GASO Fall League. The babyface Forward rebounds the ball like a young Dennis Rodman. Holland plays with an endless motor and he tries to finish everything around the paint. He is making a case for himself to be in the discussion for the number 1 player in the state for 2023.
Preston Lawrence | SG | Lake Highlands | 2020
Lawrence has always been known as a shooter with deep range ability, but he has evolved as a player since last high school season and is now comfortable with going to the basket and in finishing in traffic. College Coaches were very intrigued by his play and evolution of his game. I expect for Lawrence’s recruitment to pick up tremendously after this weekend.
Lado Laku | C | Lake Highlands | 2020
Laku is a mobile big man that is raw offensively but he uses his height and length to alter shots and finish over smaller defenders at a solid rate. He is far from being a finished product, but he has all of the measurements plus the motor that makes him a very enticing big man prospect.
Ramon Walker | SF | Shadow Creek | 2021
Walker was a bit of a surprise for me yesterday because I heard a lot of good things about him from my coworker Brandon Jenkins about how good Ramon was scoring the rock and after yesterday I would have to agree with him. Walker can score it off the dribble and has the ability to pull-up from the midrange or take it all the way to the cup. Expect to see the Houston bucket getter jump multiple spots in the rankings when the updates come out.
Addarin Scott | PF | Dallas Carter | 2021
Scott looks a lot like 2020 Forward Malik Henry did at this stage last year. Scott has pogo stick bounce and uses his long arms to block shot and snag rebounds. He plays hard and although he’s still working offensive game he is capable of finishing around the basket. Scott definitely has a chance to be on some coach’s radar if he keeps playing like he did yesterday.
