Braeden Miller – 6’3 – 2021 – RDC Lakers
Braeden Miller is an athletic 6-foot-3 guard that has underrated bounce with the ball in his hands. Miller has unlimited stamina on both ends which came in handy alongside the efforts of Po’Boigh King. He rebounds and defends well and gets up the floor for easy buckets. He’s one prospect that has the potential for a strong junior season.
Collin O’Sullivan – 5’10 – 2021 – RDC Lakers
Collin O’Sullivan was another RDC Lakers prospect that put other teams on notice with his ability. O’Sullivan is quite the sharpshooter from behind the arc when the ball is in his hands. He made three 3-pointers and finished with 22 points in their opening victory over the Atkinson All-Stars. He’s a solid prospect that can create his own shot, moves well without the ball and scores with confidence.
D.J. Campbell – 6’0 – 2022 – JBA Gladiators
D.J. Campbell was the unsung leader for the JBA Gladiators as they traveled all the way from Hampton, Virginia to win the 16U Gold Bracket Championship. They defeated Po’Boigh King and the RDC Lakers twice thanks to the efforts of Campbell. Despite being in the class of 2022, Campbell showed that he’s well beyond his years with his performance this past weekend. He led the division in total points (122) and averaged 30.5 points per game including 38 points in the title game.
Omarion Wilson – 6’6 – 2021 – JBA Gladiators
Omarion Wilson was quite the complementary player in the frontcourt alongside D.J. Campbell in the backcourt. Wilson ran a solid pick-and-roll game with Campbell, showing off their chemistry as high school teammates. He was a burden on the boards as well as he had a number of tip-ins and putback dunks to control the paint for his squad. He was another reason the JBA Gladiators went undefeated on the weekend.
Alkevion Walker – 5’5 – 2022- Team Trezz
Alkevion Walker is listed at just 5-foot-5 but he wasn’t shy about getting to the rim and finishing strong all weekend long. Walker was one of the three-headed monsters for Team Trezz in the 15U division as they went undefeated on the weekend. He put up 16.0 points per contest and was the fearless leader for this squad on both ends, especially on the defensive end. He also made seven 3-pointers on the weekend.
Amarion McCrae – 6’4 – 2022 – Team Trezz
Amarion McCrae is an emerging big man that cleans up the glass and is a burden to defend in the post. He averaged 11.7 points per game this past weekend as the cleanup man for Team Trezz . In their opening victory of the weekend, he put up 16 points in a big victory over Taking It By Force.
Aaron Murphey – 6’5 – 2022- Team Trezz
Aaron Murphey was unstoppable all weekend on the 15U circuit for Team Trezz . He led the division in total points (82) and points per game (20.5) as he scored at will whenever he wanted. He can get to the rim off the dribble and is a solid back-to-the-basket threat for Team Trezz as they went 4-0 and won the 15U Gold Championship.
Otis Coley – 6’1 – 2022 – Team Wall Big East
Otis Coley was one of the more consistent scorers in the Team Wall Big East rotation. He averaged 15.3 points per game and scored 18 points while making three 3-pointers in their opening victory over the NC Eagles. He’s a player that’s developing on all three levels and has quite the upside in the Team Wall BE backcourt.
Arron Hall – 6’5 – 2021 – Carolina Crossovers Elite
Arron Hall played on the 17U division with Carolina Crossovers Elite despite being in the Class of 2021. He showed he belonged with a 41-point performance against Unique Bwoys Elite, controlling the paint with his strength and length. He also showed his ability to get to the free throw line with 10 made free throws in the game. Hall averaged 29.0 points per contest on the weekend and has mid-major potential written all over him.
Cannon Keziah – 6’2 – 2022 – Cape Fear Warriors
Cannon Keziah had quite the cannon from behind the arc for the Cape Fear Warriors in the 15U division. He led the way for his squad with 27 points and six made 3-pointers against Team Wall Big East. Keziah led the division with 17 made 3-pointers and averaged 4.3 3-pointers made throughout the four contests he appeared in for his team. He’s a player that should generate a lot of looks at the next level very soon.
Liam Witchey – 6’4 – 2022 – CEBA
Liam Witchey demanded a whole lot of attention in the post when CEBA made their appearance in the BigShots Carolina Xtravaganza. He’s an emerging big man prospect that can post up and finish strong in the post and can snag rebounds in bunches. Witchey averaged 10.7 points per game and is due for a strong summer.
Jaxon Brown – 6’0 – 2022 – CEBA
Jaxon Brown was a solid inside-out threat for CEBA on the 15U circuit. He made a total of six 3-pointers and averaged 11.0 points per game for his squad on the weekend. He’s got untapped potential as a primary slasher on CEBA and he’s another prospect that could grow on some college coaches on the recruiting trail.
