Garner Road West 2020 Guard Carson McCorkle: We like the fact that he can fill up the scoring sheet in an efficient way which allows him to do what he does best but also playing within the flow of the team. He can score it from all over the court, make plays above the rim, and doesn’t back down from a challenge, UVA fans should be very excited.
Big Shots Elite WV 2020 Guard Kadin McClurg: It’s rare that you see two teammates during the AAU season averaging close to 20 PPG but that was the case for Big Shots West VA with Kadin and KJ in the backcourt together. Kadin’s ability to knock down shots at a high level, as well as making the correct play the majority of the time, has caught the attention of D1 programs, with Niagara being one of the latest to offer.
Big Shots Elite NC 2020 Forward Nick Farrar: He started off somewhat slow but as time went on he got better and better each game, with a 37 point game being one of the highest scoring performances of any player in the building. When he’s playing with max effort and is fully locked in, he’s one of those players that has a chance to be very special.
Dallas Seawolves 2020 Guard Thailand Elder: He caught our attention during the spring live period, putting together some nice scoring performances. Although he was battling injuries during the July session, he played through it and still came up with some big time performances. Low Major programs have offered while Mid Majors have been keeping an eye on him.
Dallas Seawolves 2020 Guard Sterling Hopkins: Was absolutely automatic from three point range in the games that we got to see. One game in particular that really stood out was a 28 point game where he knocked down seven treys.
Team Wall Big East 2021 Forward Bennie Brooks: He continues to play at a high level each time he steps on the court, averaging over 17 PPG for his team. 6’4 with a nice overall skillset and a nice amount of upside, he will be one that will look to have another big time season at East Carteret to draw the attention of more college coaches.
WCBA 2021 Guard Chase Hakerem: We got the chance to see Chase a few years back at a middle school event and he’s only gotten better as time has gone on. He can knock down the trey ball at a high level display good ballhandling skills, and plays the game with a toughness/confidence that we love to see.
