Jaden Brownell Utah Premiere 2021 – Brownell is a D1 prospect IMO. He has a nice soft touch around the rim, great hands, and he’s long with the mobility to hedge and switch ball screens. The 6’9 Brownell is a good athlete who runs the floor well, and is a big time rim protector.
Emanuel “Mooch” Austin Nevada Hard 2 Guard 2021 – Austin was the best individual player I saw today. He can get his shot off whenever he wants, and he showed a next level ability to finish over size. He’s versatile enough to play the 1 or 2, and he plays with a next play mentality that allows him to compete at a high level.
Tanner Poeschl Legion of Hoops 2020 – I couldn’t keep my eyes of Poeschl all day. I’m not sure what he is position wise, but he definitely is a player. The 6’7 Poeschl is long and athletic and can put it on the floor and get to the cup. Play him at the 3 and he can switch ball screens and force perimeter guys into tough shots, play him at the 4 and he will protect the rim.
Ricky Lujan New Mexico D1 Ambasadors 2020 – Lujan is a stud. I’ll be the first to admit he didn’t have his fastball today, but that’s exactly why he made my list. Even in his worst games he still managed to rise to the moment and play through adversity. The 6’1 guard is athletic enough to catch a body, and cerebral enough to play chess on the checker board. According to my sources Montana St looks like the eventual destination for him.
Issac Jessup Colorado Titans 2020 – Jessup was a dead eye all day long. He helped space the floor for the athletic drivers on the team. At 6’3 he has decent size to defend the 2, however his value comes from being a knock down shooter on the offensive end. When he is on like he was today, the Titans are virtually unbeatable in this tournament.
