Pender HS: Last season they were unable to compete in the state tournament but they were in the mix for one of the top teams in 1A. 2020 Guard Jajuan Carr is a player that has the attention of D1 programs and has already picked up offers. He’s a talented player that can score the ball at a nice rate and plays above the rim.
West Brunswick HS: College Coaches should get familiar with this team as they have multiple players that can play on the next level. 2020 Forward Jadyn Parker has picked up interest and offers with North Florida being the latest. 2021 Guard Makoa Suriago is a legit PG that has a nice IQ for the game, he can knock down the trey ball and defends at a nice level.
South Granville: This group has a nice mixture of talent and will be one to keep an eye on. 2021 Guard Bobby Pettiford is a name that plenty know as he is a player with D1 offers already. 2020 Forward Wy’kise Allen is talented as well, he can give you 20 points and double digit rebounds on any given night. The sleeper prospect for this squad is 2020 Guard Micah Jones, he showed flashes of what he could do this year which included a 51 point showing.
Leesville Road HS: Last season was a pretty successful year for the team, even though their record was 16-13, they had some big time wins. 2021 Guard Carter Whitt is the big name that many know and rightfully so as he is an ACC caliber type talent. 2021 Guard Chase Hakerem is a player that we like as well, he can knock down the outside shot and plays the game with confidence.
Westover HS: One of the best defensive teams that we have got the chance to see all summer, they dedicate themselves on that end of the floor. 2020 Forward Traymond Willis-Shaw is the name to know for this group, the 6’8 prospect can play multiple positions and is rounding out his game offensively.
RJ Reynolds: We got a chance to see their future backcourt a few weeks back at the Triad First 48 event and we left very impressed. 2021 Guard Tyreik Leach can put the ball in the bucket at a nice rate when he gets it going. His backcourt mate 2021 Caden Davis is an impressive player as well, he can score the ball as well as making plays above the rim.
